While it is certainly possible that something got out of here off by 0.002", that measurement is very difficult to take because it's an inside corner cut with a tool that has a radiused tip, although it is a small radius. -David

I make domes for several builders. Sometimes they give me specs, drawings, or parameters. Sometimes they get my designs. I didn't make the domes in the pictures for anyone. Just wanted to clarify some of the stuff above.

It has been several years since my Super Cub domes were 'stepped'. I don't know if that head was designed for the earlier style domes. -David
