  1. Im selling the A Arms off my 04 YFZ. They are in very nice condition. I ran about 2 tanks of gas through my bike, then I set it up for MX. You get: all 4 arms and the tie rods You will need the "dust caps" (on the arms) and the tie rod ends. Both these parts are the same on both the YFZ and Banshee, so you can use the ones on your bike now, and have everything you need. $180 shipped. - Shawn
  2. These shocks came off my 04 YFZ. I rode about 2 tanks of gas through the bike, then I set it up for MX. They are in like new condition. (silver springs) $200 shipped - Shawn
  3. These are friends of mine. They just wanted to race the national circut, and some scumbags ripped them off. Another bike that was in the trailer was a white YFZ with PEP shocks, Walsh front end and stock swinger. If you are from the area keep an eye out please. Edit- Here is a better description of the YFZ
  4. Yeah, Im pretty pissed about my YFZ right now though. It died on me at the ATV olympics, and I couldnt even race! When I got back on saturday, it was the first time I fired up the Banshee. It started right up on about the third kick. Im used to kicking my YFZ now, The first time I kicked the Banshee I thought I forgot to put the spark plugs in or something.
  5. A few of you might remember me. I had my 2001 for almost 3 years, then learned that the shop sold it to me stolen. I took off ALL my parts that I upgraded and gave them back the chasis. They gave me a full refund, which I used to get a YFZ. I sold most of the banshee parts I had to get my YFZ ready for MX. Anyways my tow truck driver buddy found what was left of my impounded banshee. I bought it back for $750, this time I actually own it. Sitting outside with the clutch side of the motor exposed a little was rough on it, though. Anyways I bought all the replacement parts it needed and now its pertty much done. I rebuilt it for a friend, so I can have another person to ride with. I think including the $750 for the bike we ended up spending around $3000. New: - Hot rods crank - wiseco top end - every single bearing in the engine/tranny has been replaced - gaskets, of coarse - chasis bearings/bushings - V force reeds - Durablue axle - lots of little stock parts used: - some nice LRD pipes - PC'ed blue hubs - blue plastics Left overs: - Sidewinder chain/sprockets - Allooy Specialists axle lock nut - PD pro-flo foam intake - DR clutch Thanks to Bob over at Magnolia Yamaha for getting me all the OEM parts plus a few more. His prices kept us "under budget" and he had to spend at least 30 minutes just looking up all the part numbers I sent him! Thats about all I can remember right now. Pics coming soon.
  6. The monster truck show in Houston this weekened had Tim Farr, Kory Ellis, Jonny Hale, Kieth Little, and a few other pros racing.
  7. I raced an STQRA race in Highlands TX. It was probably the best organized race Ive been to. All the people were great, also. I got 3rd in the novice class.
  8. Joel told me that no members were buying anything about a yr ago, so they stopped. I have Janssen's LT front end, swinger, and Elka's on my YFZ. I feel that there are better products out there (like WALSH) and I wish I knew when I bought the stuff what I know now (compression ratios, and such) but I paid $3500 for everything. That would only get me a Walsh front end! Also my Janseen arms and swinger have a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Who else does that? - Shawn
  9. or you can get a brand new hot rods crank for $365 from hell-bound racing on ebay.
  10. This is one of the funniest threads Ive ever seen. This guy comes on talking about using FIRE to clean parts... Then superchicken myth-busts his ass with the step by step pictures. Thats some funny chit.
  11. Kerosene, mineral spirits Edit- Kerosene OR mineral spirits
  12. Heim joints are way stronger than ball joints. They are designed to handle a heavier load. Some say the heims can get contaminated with dirt or whatever (since they are exposed) and wear quicker because of it.
  13. I know in our county you can go the the Sherrifs website and do an "inmate search" It will tell you all arrests in the last 5 yrs. Here it is if you wanna check it out - http://www.hcso.tampa.fl.us/ Not all counties have this, just some.
