-

got a set from a 2001 (white springs), were run for about 8 months in the woods, I'm not much of a jumper, couple nicks n stuff probably on them. 70 + shipping and they're yours. Thats what they're going for on ebay, it'll save the hassle and you know your getting quality shocks that arent beat. let me know
-
good luck. I searched long and hard for some on the old rolling chassis I had. Your best bet would to be to copy what they look like and cut out your own to weld on......or You could always sell the lights to me
-
meat stopped playing on the computer as much, ditched the site and has moved on. Would like to get to ride with him one of these days though (If my banshee ever goes back together after this tear down)

what's clutching? Ohhhhh yeahhhh.....thats what I had to do when I tried to ride the blue shee with Fatty's on it.....until I bought LRD They make big bore pipes too.....I might just have to try a set of them with my stroker and ported top end to see how they react.
-
thats rough. Have you ever left it sitting out for passers by to see it? If not, then its someone in your neighborhood that has seen it, or its someone you know, or at least someone you know knows about it.
-
LRD ......enough said
-
that'd be a little rough with a gripper seat

here's the quad my daughter's starting out on, next year it'll be something that has a little better suspension and makes a little more noise and this one will be a hand me down for the boy to start on. Gonna throw some big hp stickers on it
-
thanks everyone. Dont know how good of an electric vehicle it is, but I just got this yamaha sponsered electric atv from walmart. It's an exact replica of the raptor. Gonna let my daughter ride that for a year, and then get her a mini quad. Dont know which way to go, to get them on a 2stroke or to get them on a 4stroke and let them be part of the 4stroke revolution. We'll see how far they want to pursue riding 4wheelers. I've got 2 banshees that are about to get ripped apart to the frame and completely redone so having 2strokes around to ride to shouldnt be a problem
-
thanks guys Going to see a specialist is tough. You go because you cant have a kid....and then you end up having 2-5 Good luck to you though, maybe you should tell your wife about the 2-5 thing and she might want to practice a little more

We've known for a while now, went for the level 2 ultrasound yesterday and found out I'm having a boy. She's due nov 2nd. It's my first real child, been raising my daughter since she was 3 months old and she's 3 1/2 now so I know the game, but this is my true first....and its a boy! Gonna name him William Edgar Schmidt (fathers name, father-in-laws name) Gonna call him Wes.....unless he's in trouble, which if he takes after me....will be a lot.

are you running an airbox lid still on your lrd's? Which pipes did you get? The adjustable ones? By your speaking it sounds like you got their top end non adjustable pipe. With my airbox lid removed and running a foam filter setup I'm sitting at 310 with my LRD's.

all great dealings with these guys: zilla dude Meat_Head Nyuk sredish just a few I've dealt with lately. There's a lot more, I'll look through my notes and post more. PM me if I forgot you too.

Honda 250r throttle cable and Predator rear hub
. replied to Holyman's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
what kind of cable? -
yeah, what he said.....luckily you found the top, he'll keep you from losing it again.

on the 2-1 carb. Only reason to get one of those is if you're changing your jets out all the time, and constantly pulling the carbs etc etc. Sell the Toomey's and find a nice used set of LRD's. I sold the fatty's on my second shee and put LRD's on that as well. You wont find a better pipe for in the woods, and it'll give you all the low end you'll ever want. Other mods: vforce2's or boyeson dual stage reeds (reeds are 40, vforce are 200) will improve throttle response greatly over stock where you live?, the 16cc compression is way to much if your lower than 2000 above sea level. Drop some 20 or 21cc domes in there. That high of compression is just gonna tear your top end apart. Get a pro flow foam kit, or a K&N with a pre filter, and then get an outerwears to go over your air box. Either way, ditch the air box lid. advance your timing +4 (ricky stator plate 35 bucks, and a flywheel puller 10) After that your running out of bolt ons, other things to look into: Clutch kit (do a search for fast racing on here, he has a killer clutch kit) true and welded crank (gonna need it when you start getting those hp numbers up there) Porting (Jim at passion or Dan at patriot, here some others on here as well, do a search) Taperbored 30mm carbs and last but not least SUSPENSION. I'm running +2 +1 with inset rims. Keeps my width in and still gives me the travel. I'm putting a -1 swingarm on as well to get rid of some of the tire spin. Go this route and you'll have a killer woods shee. I'm halfway there and I can tear ass through anything that is thrown at me, ride around out of powerband all day long (basically rode in 4th and 5th following around a bunch of 400ex's to conserve on fuel the whole time I was at Hatfield-McCoy 2 weeks ago) I can scream up hillclimbs in powerband in 2nd and 3rd gears, or just walk up them out of powerband in 1st and sometimes 2nd (depending on how technical it is) I love the pipes, for woods riding, I wouldnt run anything else. Hear PT mids are comparable, but the 1 person I've talked to over the last 5 years that has ridden both pipes, likes the LRD's better. Not to mention you can adjust where the powerband comes on in the rpm band so you can sit in the torque curve right outside powerband and have all the torque and power you want to be able to do anything.

People that contacted me about carriers
. replied to Cotton eyed Joe's topic in General Banshee Discussion
with a regular bearing once it gets play, you can tighten the axle bearings as tight as you want, its still gonna have up and down play. With a tapered bearing, think of it as a wedge, once it gets loose, you can slide it in a little bit farther and it'll tighten up again. -
since it got moved and the appearance section doesnt nearly get as much traffic, figured I'd post this general question/notice in general discussion so more people will see it. Thanks
