  1. I got the lock up and the clutch cover modded and polished and some other parts(water pump gear, bearing, seal, clip, washer, bolts) all for $404. The lock out and clutch cover mod is $320. Polished is like $49 extra. Just getting the clutch cover modded is $200 I think. I'll post a pic of mine here soon when I get the chance.
  2. I would suggest getting Line-X over Rhino Lining also. I've used Herculiner on my Jeep side steps and it worked great. I was very pleased with how it came out. I beat them with a hammer just to test them out and didn't even put a dent nor a scratch on them.
  3. Buy alot of stuff from them myself.
  4. You have to send your clutch cover off and have them mod it. Then it just bolts right up.
  5. Probably going to go there to this year. Got me a set of Rockets so I will have to see how they do.
  6. Where were these drag races held at to begin with? Just curious...
  7. I have one of their gas caps and the same thing happened to me but doesn't really bother me none the hose still stays in pretty tight.
  8. Mine should be here in like 2 days. I'll tell you how they look...plus I also got the lock-up.
  9. where did you get the 5-angle valve job? i've heard of a 3-angle but never a 5-angle.
  10. Yeah...moving the clip up will allow the needle to seat further down making it leaner as apposed to lowering the clip raising the needle making it richer.
  11. Mine did this before one time also. It was the e-brake not disengaging all the way and making it bog...wouldn't rap out at all.
  12. Yeah definatly get some type of hauler. Those hook up the best. I have some Skat-Trak Edges 8 paddle that hook up ok but i'm thinking about getting some 9 or 10 paddle haulers since I got all my motor work done.
  13. Check your ring gap...shouldn't be more than like .010"-.012". As a rule you should have like .004" per 1 inch of bore.
  14. I'm not a big fan of the glass packs...especially on new trucks. Can't stand the way they sound. If you want sound and HP go with a American Thunder series exhaust system from Flowmaster. They are dual chambered 50 series mufflers with pre-bent tubing that comes with it...or you could just get the mufflers and have an exhaust shop do the tubing. But I like the mandrel bent tubing that comes with the system cause it doesn't leave the wrinkles in the bends for a little better flow. And if you are gonna go with dual exhaust you might want to consider getting an H-pipe or X-pipe of some sort.
  15. I don't think it's spos to have any play in it at all. At least mine doesn't anyway. If if does you can put some washers behind the nut for some shims to tighten it up.
  16. I wasn't there and didn't see what happened but I do know that F.A.S.T does good work and makes some fast shees.
  17. I've got about 10K in mine...not including the cost of the shee.
  18. I have a T-Maxx...but i haven't ran it in a while. Something is messed up with the carb.
  19. What are your mods?
  20. I know I would gain a little HP by adding dual carbs but I like the single carb because it's way easy to tune and whatnot. My builder put on a 39mm carb when he was breaking the motor in and he said it ran worse with the bigger carb on it. Right now my shee runs like no other so i'm pretty pleased with the single carb. Yeah 230 is the biggest main i've seen and i've looked everywhere. I'm hoping 230 will be enough. But I was also thinking of maybe getting a 38mm PWK if that doesn't work out and see if I could get it tuned it with one of those. Does anyone know of a place that sells anything bigger than a 230 main for a PWK?
  21. I sold my T-5s and i'm getting a set of Rockets. I have a Trinity 2-1 intake with a 35mm PWK carb, porting, and +4 mil. stroker. I'm at around 1,000 ft. and I had a 210 main jet with my T-5s. My question is how much more will the Rockets affect my jetting? The biggest jet I can find for my carb is a 230. Will that be enough?

  23. I was wondering if anyone had some long travel V8 sandrail blueprints or plans that they would be willing to share? I'm wanting to start building one but I can't find any plans anywhere for the long travel V8 sandrails but all I could find were the regular run-of-the-mill VW engine buggies. Any help would be great. Thanks
  24. Here's what I came up with for a design for my swingarm. It's a little ruff but you get the picture.
  25. I didn't bring my paddles or any of my gear plus I dont' really have the time since I graduate in like 2 weeks so I got alot of shit I got to pack up and whatnot. I've been calling around for a while now trying to find 3 3/4" x .180" DOM tubing for my axle carrier but nobody has anything like that around here and I really need it. You don't happen to know where I could find some?
