I've looked in alot of places and seen alot of pictures but I really just go off a picture I need some sort of plan or something for angles for bends and whatnot. Could I buy a new banshee frame and cut the front up and drag it out that way? Any info on how to do this would be great. Thanks guys.

I've looked everywhere for some blueprints or some sort of plan to go by but I can't find anything. Does anyone know a place where I can get some or have some they can send me? I would like to make one from scratch but I have nothing to go by and i've looked everywhere and e-mailed Lonestar but they didn't respond...assholes.

Aight...i'll make you one after I get out of school. I'm buying a TIG welder before I get out of school cause we get a good discount so i'll be able to make you one after I get out if mine turns out good. I won't be able to ride...my shee is still storing at my instructor's house. Plus it isn't jetted for up here. I didn't bring any of my jets or anything cause I didn't figure i'd be riding it anywhere.

I'll take some pics as i'm building it and when it's finished and on my shee then i'll post them on here. I guess if I do have any trouble my instructors will help me out. They know a shit ton about suspension design.

That's what I figured but I just thought I would check to make sure. So do you leave the shock mount at the same angle or do you change it a bit?

I'm fabin' one from scratch.

Does anyone have any blueprints of a custom made swingarm? I need something to go off of when I'm making mine. When you are extending it do you extend it after the shock mount or before or on both sides? What angle should to shock mount be at? Thanks for your help.

What mods do you have done to your shee? And what is your jetting set at?

I was wondering if I could benefit from a bigger carb for my 2 into 1 intake setup. I have a 35mm PWK right now and my shee runs really strong with my stroker and porting. Could my motor benefit from maybe say a 39mm PWK? My builder said he put one of his 39mm's on it and he said it made it run worse but I don't know if that was from poor jetting or not. Does anyone have anything bigger than a 35mm carb on their 2 into 1 intake? If so what is your jetting?

Just curious if anyone has tried a turbo or fuel injection on their Banshee and how did they like it. Here is some links to some kits... www.trickracing1.com Fuel Injection EFI Turbo

Check out these ported cylinders that are on eBay. What kind of port job is that? I've never seen anything like that before. Here is the link... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43977

I do have it up here but i'm storing it at my instructor's house till I get to take it in the shop and work on it which is in like a week or so. Where do you live exactly?

I live in Laramie right now. I'm going to wyotech...but I graduate on March 25th.

Like RNBRAD said if you scratch chrome it's pretty much there to stay. You can also chip it and it will start coming off. Polishing my take some time but you can polish it again after you scratch it or something and not have to get it re-chromed if it was chrome originally. I my opinion the only thing chrome that I like is the exhuast. I get parts that might get scratched or damaged in aluminum and dress up stuff in polished aluminum.

I just got a new set of +2 +1 A-Arms that are camber and caster adjustable. What kind of angles are you guys running with camber and caster adjustments? My thoughts would be like 2-3 degrees negative camber and 1-3 degrees positive caster.

Lowering the Ride height -YFZ Shocks
jeepman380 replied to NYCBanshee7's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Don't really think you can besides maybe smaller springs on the shocks to lower it a bit...that's all I can think of even though it's not a very good idea. The only real thing you could do is mount the shocks differently to lower it. -
What do you think about this axle?
jeepman380 replied to jeepman380's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Got one of these axles and they look really nice and well machined. Look just as good as the Lonestar or RPM axles. Alot beefier and wider than stock. I would recommend getting one of these axles. They are only $200 compared to the other axles that are like $300+. Awsome for the price I think. -
I don't know why people are hatin' on Doug Gust...he's a bad ass. And as for the Z400 that he rides it's pretty bad ass too. My bro has a Z400 with a 470 kit and when I first road it I was pretty impressed by how much power and torque it had not to mention it's pretty fast...(he could beat me before I got my ported stroker motor but now he can't hang). As for the sidewinder sprockets and chain setup that Gust uses you know it's the best when he can last a whole season through what he puts to it and it is still barely worn. So i'd rather spend a little extra now then pay alot more later down the road for new sprockets and chains or even a new case; cause the cheap setup I bought cause I thought I was saving a dollar broke. I've been down the primary drive road and i've broke numerous chains and wore alot of sprockets so why not pay a little more now then pay alot later.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Sidewinder Sprockets. I'm thinking about getting their Ti-Moly Series sprocket and Ti-Moly chain but I don't know if they live up to how people say they do. They say their Ti-Moly chain has like 14,000 lbs. tensile strength and hardly stretches or breaks. I'm also considering their Laser Cut Stainless Steel series sprocket and Gold series O-ring chain which has 12,000 lbs tensile strength. Almost as good but not as expesive. Thanks guys.

What do you guys think about this axle? I asked the sell about the axle and he said he's never had anyone bend one yet and it's warranted for any deffects. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I've bought both sets of my Yokohoma Geolanders for my truck from there and they are the cheapest i've found. I even get free tire balance and rotation anywhere they sell Yokohomas if I mention I bought them from Nebraska Tire.

I graduate from Wyotech on March 25th but I will try to make it.

I'm building an extended swingarm and I was just wondering if I can use all the stock parts off the old one and put on the new one like shock and shock linkage? Do you have to buy an aftermarket shock or can I just get my stock one rebuilt or revalved? I'm also trying to decide if I should go +4 or +6. What chain size would I have to get for +4 or +6?
