  1. Well i live in sandy creek its more on the western part of the hill. The zip here is 13145. I usually go up to redfield to go riding, im not sure what the zip code there is though.
  2. You could take it to a good shop that knows their shit and they can weld the cracks bore the cylinders out then replate it. My friend messed up the cylinders on his XCSP 800 and thats what he ended up doing. It ended up being around 200 for one cylinder but they accidentally did both so he got one done for free. Either that or look on ebay for some used cylinders or get it replated if you can. YOu should look into all posibilities and just do what ever is cheaper.
  3. That really sux dude, i'd be out for blood that is totally uncalled for. I'd just notify the police and hope for the best, or go from door to door and try figuring out who did it and beat their sorry asses.
  4. No its not gonna be discontinued where the hell did you hear that???
  5. If i ever get real serious about racing that will be my next quad probably. An lsr 250r/banshee all custom. That would rock
  6. I just got my v-force reeds today, and WOW what a difference. It pulls so much harder now then before. I made the mistake of giving too much gas around a corner and almost hit a tree because i wheelied. Anyone who has the trinity 2 into 1 intake should get these they really improve low end power a ton. I dont even have the jetting perfect yet and it ran awesome.
  7. I do have an outerwear but im not sure how water repelent it is.
  8. I have a pro design proflow air box adaptor for k&n. I love it and it made the engine snappier and all that but it doesnt keep water out that well and when i ride in wet conditions it sux water and runs like shit. My question is, is there any foam filters that will fit the adaptor or will i have to get an other kit for 100 bucks to replace this set up? also will switching to foam help much in reducing water intake??
  9. Save up for a YFZ 450. Z400s are friggan slow, if i had that and a banshee the Z would probably sit in the garage collecting dust. IF you were to try to get the Z400 up to par with the YFZ450 you would end up spending way more then it would cost just to get a YFZ450 in the first place. I use to swear by banshees, but those 450s are the hot new ticket. Now if you wanted to shovel a lotta money into a quad a banshee would be the way to go but for stock those YFZs are rocketships.
  10. Hmmm i dont have much experience with hondas but im guessing that you would just take the axlelocknuts off, the hubs, sprocket and disk hubs, etc. Then when you get all that crap off figure out what way its suppose to go out im guessing you would hit it out on what ever side the axle locknut was off because that was how the banshee was. You may need to heat it up real well with a propane torch and just hit it with a big mallot of get a block of wood and pound on it with a BFH. Hope this helps you a little.
  11. When i got my new plastics i broke off half of the fender bolts. I stripped like 3 clutch cover screws out. I've stripped out the axle carrier bolts. Stripped out carb float bowl screws out on my new Kehin 35 pwk Stripped out my patients for Yamaha metal
  12. I raced at Motomasters in maple view, they have a nice fast and wide track with some good jumps. I'ts great because they usually start the quads before the bikes but then later in the day it gets torn up real bad for the finals. www.motomasters.com
  13. At the local MX track here the only classes offerd for quads is Quad novice quad am and quad expert I dont think it matters what your engine size is, ive seen raptors racing against 250rs.
  14. I run old school bills, Havent ridden a Shee with anything different yet except stock so i dont know how they compare to other pipes. I like em though, they sound good.
  15. I have the same problem with my 87. Where can i get some exhaust sealant. Every auto part store i go to says taht they dont have anything that will work and they never help me much. Thanks for any suggestions.
  16. If your thinking of Racing MX id keep the order for the 450. I know you can get the banshee to handle very well, and ripp unbeleivable. But id just get the 450. The thing is incrediblely fast and its got a lot of torque. It also handles very well for stock and jumps very well. I'm currently modifying the heck out of my banshee for MX but if i had the cash and good credit id just go with a 450.
  17. I'm just curious, what do you use to clean it?? I know that some cleaners out there may be too strong. I usually use some dish soap and water to clean mine, it seems to be holdin up great.
  18. My friend just bought a YFZ yesterday and let me ride it and i have to say, that is one bad ass quad. the acceleration like the banshees but it has low end power, so you can lug it in like 3rd or 4th gear, hit the throttle and accelerate like a bat out of hell. They jump extremely well also. I jumped it and it doesnt even feel like you jumped after you land. Kinda like just hitting bumps. You will be very happy with it.
  19. Get some Dynoport 2 into 1 pipes. They give awesoem low end to mid range power. They sound wicked too, probably the best sounding pipe i have heard.
  20. Just take a rubber mallot and hit it as hard as you can. It should pop out. Dont use a metal hammer though because it will bent the threads and you will have to rethread it. If you cant get it off try heating it up with a propane torch also and then hit it.
  21. Never mind i figured it out. Ordered some new V-force reeds today
  22. I tend to always leave cabinet doors open, it pisses my mom off a lot when i do this. My grandpa and dad and uncle also do it so im guessing its a genetic thing lol. One time my grandpa left the cabinet door open and my grandma hit her head on it and that wasnt a good moment to be near them because she flipped out i guess. lol I also fall asleep on the couch with the TV on all the time and it annoys my mom a lot. thats all i can think of now lol
  23. 4 strokes are fun in a lot of cases. My bro has an 88 LT230 quadsport and that thing would keep up with a blaster no problem. Its wicked easy to wheelie also. Through the woods its real nice being able to just hit the gas and accelerate. I also love the 4 stroke power when it comes to 4x4s. I have 6 horses and we use a honda 4x4 300 to haul the horse shit back to the pile and there is no way i could do that with the banshee with out burning a clutch every week. New 4 strokes are very fast also, one of my good friends bought a 2003 predator and that thing is very powerful. It has a power band a lot like a shee, and can sometimes keep up with me THe only thing i really dont like about thumpers is the sound of em. Hell just think if it werent for 4 strokes we would be driving gas hog 2 stroke cars and trucks, imagine how expensive that would be!!!!
  24. One time i raced a 400ex and lost because i gave him too much of a head start. I was about a quad length behind him at the end of the field.
  25. Honda
