Jeeze i guess im lucky compared to some of you. I got pulled over in november on the side of the road, (I was on the grass on my own lawn also whcih was bull shit) But the cop pulled me over and he could have nailed me for no registration or anything and riding on a road but he just got me for not wearing a helm. I was just riding it over to the neigbors house on my own grass and they pulled me over, oh well. I was also lucky because the cop who pulled me over rides quads also so thats an other reason he let me off easy. You know who are the real assholes are? not the cops but the assholes who make the laws. New York state registration for quads is over 40 bucks or something. When you buy that where the hell is that money going?? Most state land isnt even legal for quads to ride on, and most of the roads arent legal to ride on either. Thats why i dont even bother registering my quad because its not even gonna help me at all. I can see paying for snowmobile registration since there are a system of trails taht are taken care of. But untill i see some land taht i can ride on with out being bitched at im not buying registration.

Oh yea i raced a 400 ex with my bros Quadsport 230 and wheelied like hell off the line and beat him for like 10 feet. So im pretty sure i could beat anything now Blasters are the shit i can imagine that you can get them to haul ass. They have wicked good engine potential and awesome light weight. I can beleive that your drag blaster has got to be wicked fast because its a 2 stroke and you can get them to do that. Now if you were saying you got a 4 stroke to beat a stock banshee than id question you.

No i have an ez-pull its not the lever. It hooks up between the lever and the cable and there is a cable from it to the lever that is frayed up.

one thing if you put a new clutch in, i would have every other clutch spring be stock. Then every other one an aftermarket spring. I have an MSR raptor clutch lever with a motion pro terminator cable and a white bros ez-pull. This set up makes for an extremely easy clutch pull. I could barely feel it. The problem now i have is that my ezpulls cable is frayed and i dont know where to find a new one. Also i would get a cable luber, rather then just spraying WD-40 down the cable in hopes that it gets through. A cable luber will push the lube through the cable very nicely.

Check your kick starter i bet it's that. tons of banshee owners including myself have this problem and its a pain in the ass. My kicker is grinding my clutch cover pretty good lol.

the cable on my EZ-pull just went bad and all frayed up. Does anyone know where i can order one. The thing came on the fourwheeler, its a whitebros ez-pull thing that mounts on the cable. I looked everywheres including whitebros site but i couldn't find one.

I just ordered a 2 into 1 trinity setup today. I was just wondering from those of you have have this setup, how do you feel about it compared to dual carbs?? Will it still have as good as a top end kick? and will it make throttle pull easier?? Thanks!!

You need to adjust it down at the clutch. If you take the clutch cover off there is an adjuster screw and a locknut on the center of the clutch. You have to loosen up that locknut and turn that adjuster screw so that the point on the clutch arm lines up with the point on the crankcase (you will see what im talking about.)

Hmmm, that could mean quite a bit more bite. I'll have to think about that tonight, hopefully ill have one ordered by tommorow, just depends on how much money i want to spend because i think my rings are about due for a change and i want to get some ptr mids to replace my old bills pipes.

I'm looking for a new clutch kit because my cheap ass tusk kit slips too much. I was wondering if anyone has tried an 8 plate kit? I see that ebc and duncan racing has 8 plate kits. What would be an advantage of an 8 plate kit? Also if i just get a regular kit what company should i go with ebc?? Bike bandit has the dirt racer kit for 100 bucks which i dont think is too bad of a deal.

I got this setup also. For some reason though i cant get the thing to shift easy or go into neutral. I put the clutch in the same order as it said too in the repair manual, but now if i pull the clutch in 1st or any gear it just rolls. I tried adjusting it at the base but it just made it worse when i lined up the arrows. Anyone have any advice? that would be great thanks.

I'ts quite simple, just take it off and tape it down to the frame where you cant see it. Just make sure that it's not touching the exhaust, also make sure you have it on because that would be a pain in the ass to turn off and on all the time. This is what i did and it works great. I taped it between the two frame pieces in front of the engine on the inside and it worked well. I would make sure that you put a tether in if you dont all ready taht way people you dont want riding or taking it cant start it.

Lol this is like a problem with 10 million different causes. I think ill check out the choke next because it still sticks when ever it gets wet. Maybe the seals are bad and its getting water in it, because my friends with newer banshees dont have this problem.

Well i never greased the slides. I greased the thumb throttle inside of it. It all makes sense now though. Because everyone i know with a stock throttle doesnt have the problem of a stuck throttle. But i have a motion pro cable and that is probably the problem. thanks for the advice ill go pull it apart now.

I dont know what the hell im doing wrong. I jsut cleaned my air filter out and i also completely cleaned the throttle assembly and greased it. Now my throttle is sticking all the time!!!! It use to just stick when the carbs or throttle would get wet. But its dryer than hell and it keeps friggan reving!!! I just hit the throttle a little bit and it just revs and revs with out even giving it more freakin gas!!!. so this is for all you guys who get as pissed as me F**K YOU BANSHEE CARBS

I just got a new clutch cable for my Banshee and it pulls so much easier now. I couldnt even pull my cable when it wasnt hooked up. If you are having a hard time pulling your clutch then get a new cable it helps a ton. I spent the extra money also to get a terminator clutch cable which has less resistance than a standard because of the way the housing is around the cable.

I revently bought an MSR Raptor clutch perch and lever, and a motion pro terminator clutch cable and wow!!! The clutch doesnt even feeel like its there anymore. Its got like a hydralic feel to it. I strongly recomend that you get this if your looking for a cheap mod because it helps clutch pull so much!!! It looks good too. I know you can modify the stock lever but i didnt want to go through the trouble and bought the lever.

Hmmm i'd have to say 1- Banshee- every time i see a Banshee i just think of riding mine and how awesomely fast they are. Before i ever had one id love seeing other peoples banshees. 2- Yfz450- looks sweet 3- Honda 250R- Gotta love the oldschool Honda, especially if it has original plastics that are still in good shape. My favorite lookin 4x4s would have to be 1. John Deere Trail Buck- I love anything made by John Deere 2. Sportsman 700 2. Rincon 650

They must be idiots if they cant start a Banshee. I got mine from my uncle a few years ago and its an 87. I pulled it out of storage and changed the gas in it, because it had been sitting for like over 10 years. once i got the new gas in it and i started the second kick!! Now is thats hard to start someone has problems.

God i wish i had money, i have an 87 Banshee and chances are i will never own a brand new banshee unless i hit the lotto before they stop making them. I know its not a big deal but i always thought it would be nice to get a brand new one and start fresh and have everything intact and not have to fix shit.

Fenders cracked up quite a bit and didnt have sheet metal so i took some metal shelve parts and cut them to fit and riveted them together. Of course the ol zip ties hold the rest of it together.
