  2. Thanks man. I just realized a very bad thing though. My friends that i was gonna have be my pit crew and help out with shit is going on the stupid senior trip to disney world. They would rather pay 700 bucks to go on a 3 day trip than stay up here and race. now that aint right. Oh well i think i still have some people around here that willhelp me out that arent going hopefully.
  3. There is a race down in maple view the 2nd of April and im considering entering in it. I need a new chain and need to get my J-arm straitened out, and get new gaskets for the carbs. Other that that stuff what should i do to my Shee for race prep? Also whats some good ways to prevent arm pump?? Thats one thing i really dont want to have to worry about. Any suggestions are appreciated thanks guys!
  4. I think you could beat them, especially since you have some good a-arms on that. It pretty much comes down to how good of a rider you are.
  5. I would imagine that the dirt would stick better to it since it is thicker. But i hear that if you put it under your fenders mud comes right off with a hose. Where from upstate are you from?? I like your list of sleds, im hoping to get an XCSP 600 this fall.

  7. To get any power increase you would have to rejet it. The power increase isn't anything like you can get out of a 2 stroke though. I think that you would get more power out of a performance header also rather then just a new muffler.
  8. I say legalize it. Pot is a problem around here because the price of it is so damn high. If it was legal you could get the shit a lot cheaper. Getting high is awesome. I'd much rather toke a bong or eat some brownies than get wicked drunk. You dont even get hung over from weed.
  9. I use to ride my polaris trail blazer down the roads for miles wide open. Nothing has happened yet to it lol. It still runs pretty good too. As for the banshee a couple years ago i went down the road with it and it was runnign lean then i floored it for a little bit and it blew the piston and crankshaft.
  10. Lol my first bike was a manco dingo go cart with a 5 horse brigs and straton lol. Then a polaris Trailblazer, now the banshee. First sled was a 1974 Arctic cat El tigre 400, now that was an awsome sled! It had 2 spark plugs per cylinder and it was wicked fast.
  11. It's better to at least just feather it. It's hard for me to shift with out using the clutch. might just be an adjusment problem though

  13. I had two bad experiences wheelying and flippin my 87. Bent the J-arm a little the first time then really bent it the second time after completely flipping upside down then landing on the tire.
  14. Naw i compared the good one to the bad one and it is definitely bent. I have seen some people who have different arms for their 87s that look pretty trick. I know lonestar makes a nice D-arm and V-arms but they are a little too pricey for me. I have thought of getting an a-arm conversion but i think i'd rather keep it original. I know it might sound stupid but i just think that the old j-arms are unique and are kinda cool even though they are weaker. An other thing is that the pipes i have on it now probably wont fit with an a-arm frame. They are oldschool bills. They look a little too long.
  15. I just bent one of the crappy J-arms the other day flipping my banshee doing a good wheelie gone bad. I was looking at some brand new J-arms and they are liek 143 dollars!!! i tried ebay but couldnt find any used ones. Does anyone know where i can get a set of used J-arms or something to replace them that isnt that much money?

  17. Yea i dont care how good other quads are i think the banshee is the best quad built. I was out on mine and i was hauling ass through rough and smooth shit. I have stock a-arms with White power racing shocks and it handles wicked awsome with just having good shocks. I wouldnt trade a banshee for anything else to me nothing is as fun and just the sound of fourstrokes is boring.
  18. If your into racing MX. Then get the 250R. For everything else besides maybe deep mud get a banshee. I use mine for mainly trail riding and some jumping on my track out back, and i wouldnt trade it for anything but an other banshee. I dont think anything is as fun

  21. Update: it's been 7 god damn days and i still havent gotten some parts i ordered. I call the dealer up and ask them if my parts are in yet. The idiot on the phone is like uuuhhhhh let me go check. Turns out one of my parts are in and the other one will be there in an other DAY or TWO!!! This fuckin pissing me off they said it would be here in around 3 days, so f*ck stupid ass dealers!!!!!
  22. I've ridden a 400 ex and the banshee would smoke it. With a good rider i think it could smoke it on the track too. The DVX 400 is the same thing as the kfx and Z400 only different plastics. The Raptor and Banshee would be close unless the banshee is piped or modded in some other fasion then it would beat the raptor even piped.

  24. Umm I dont get it, if anything i would put stock silencers on with aftermarket pipes so its quieter but at least it would still have more power. So yes i think its a stupid idea, no offence or anything. You will regret doing this also. I dont think you will lose much top speed but it wont accelerate as quickly.
