  2. don't work on the shee while highly intoxicated. yep have the beers after your done wrenching...!!!takes me 2 hours to put tools away!!!!LOL
  3. Did you pressure test the motor after rebuild? What do ya mean that the jetting should be there?Any other mods besides the timming plate when you rebuilt the motor???
  4. I belive it's 7 ft.lbs for the pressure plate,I just snugged them all up with a small rachet and torqued them dowm.Your bolts should be fine...
  5. I don't think the fuel has anything to do with it....Are you sure the motor ran fine before you put the timing plate on?

  7. What is the gap for the pick-up coil?i installed my plate at +4 starts good,but never rode it yet... Never mind I just read another post....... .015 to .025 is the gap....Some reason I was thinking .030ish

  12. I also agree heat cycles are a must for the first 3 times the machine is fired up.Make sure the motor is totally cooled down...never stay at the same RPM's when riding....
  13. Tap the flywheel puller with a hammer,tighten the puller again,Tap it again and it should pop off......
  14. Pipe it ...replace filter... rejet...and you should be able to pull 15 up front....... and get use to it!!!
  15. I don't know about that one! It has been done. It's been done,but I wouldn't do that.Mine are golden brown about 2-3 inches down.If my pipes change from golden brown like they been for years to blue(rainbow colors) I would know somethings wrong.....
  16. I have a Clark fuel tank 5.6 gallons.I like the fit alot better than the IMS.Also Clark has the air fins in the tank just like the stock covers.I also carry 2.5 gallons in the six pack rack.I can go 90 miles depending on how I ride.

  18. you need a reason to run high octane gas....What's your compression? High octane will not give you HP........
  19. When does it backfire? Make sure your cross over tube is connected.....

  22. There're a few guys out here running near the same set-up as you and +4.Their running 93, with no problems yet.....I'm going to try the same at +4 and 150 PSI.
  23. I ended up removing 4 links.I started with 3 knowing it would be close and it was.It would of worked with 3,but removing 4 put the adjustment right smack in the middle.
