  1. The strut did help me with hook up for sure....Kinds sounds like were talking about two different things thou.I never heard of lowering blocks and what they do.
  2. Are you talking about a lowering strut?
  3. PM mrmatt he did mine last month and did a really good job.You can do a search under -2 swingarm for more info
  4. years back when I put my twist on,the throttle did stick once.It did feel kinda funny at times just twisting it in the garage.I ran the cable a different way and tape it to the front brake cable with the right amount of slack. You just have to find the right bend sometimes.like they she the sweet spot.
  5. I'm at sea level...50 pilots and 160 mains...
  6. I game for a fest at the badlands...Lets get something going guys!!!!never been to Haspin....where is it?is it worth going to?
  7. Mrmatt did my swingarm...he did a awsome job and i recieved the arm back within 7 days from when I ship!!!I wished I did this a long time ago.The traction is so much better.
  8. Personally I wouldn't change it to +7 unless ya have adiquate time to do some testing with it before the race. I've been thinking the same.Just put it back to +4.....I will have lots of time for testing, but sounds like it will be about 5 to 10 degress...BRRRRRRR..to darn cold to be testing the machine....
  9. awsome ..........simple fix!!!
  10. I'm running +7 this wekend for the winter drags.I just heard one bad thing with this. This guy says I will not gain any more rpm's and it will go flat on top and stop pulling. Also will burn the motor up.what do ya guys think of that?could it be the cold weather?he thinks I shound stay at 4 degress.I'm running 110 fuel at 150 lbs. Thanks for any info.....
  11. from what I've been hearing. You should not have to change your jetting.BUT a good idea to double check doing any mod.So far all I heard is turning the idle up a tad......If any..
  12. ... and add it to the chain or replace a link? add another link...This will work, but if you want to put the 13 back on for a certain trail you will have to remove that like more than likely. That's why i ground my swingarm the problem will never strike back.
  13. Yep,there are two long bolts holding your carrier on.look at the slots on the lower bolt.grind it a little bigger.
  14. You might have to grind the swingarm.i did that going to a 15 up front.
  15. summer to winter jetting....turn air screws in about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn.bump the main up 1 size for every 20 degrees colder. This will give you a really good start!
  16. anyone out here running +4 timing without the crank being welded? With no problems....I'm at +4 with out welding the crank and getting neverous after reading the posts here.
  17. I rejetted my shee for the winter. One thing that i'm not to keen on is a low idle when choked. When I push the chokes down the machine does not idle down much, there is not alot of RPM's to drop down. When machine is warm the idle is a tad low.For winter I turned the air screws in 1 turn.Should I back out the air screws a bit or turn the idle up?
  18. In the pass I had a pro port my piston skirts on two motors and cracked the skirts twice.Last rebuild I did not do that and it's running strong now......grinding the windows make them very week and i didn't notice a big differents in power.
  19. My buddy has a cheap $75 one and it reads about 10 pounds less and will vary about 5 pounds each time.If your moving into the banshee world do not be cheap with anything!!It will cost ya sooooooooooo much money down the road.i have a snap-on and it's a 14mm thread....
  20. Dude go to carbparts.com they will have any carb part you need!!
  21. What kind of carbs do you have?...I could kick myself in the ass not thinking about the needle on the launch!!!!!
  22. 28 PWK'S flatslides....
  23. I have my machine jetted real close for winter.I will be removing the lid and useing a lightly oiled filter,+7 timing and 110 race gas for the drags. My question is .....how much will I have to richen the main? Will the needle be fine?I won't be on the needle at all dragging,so I'm thinking it should be just fine.I have my largest mains in which is 165.I have to buy jets so I want to narrow it down the best I can.
  24. 99red..... how many studs do you put in?My first post might not be all the clear.I have 200 in each rear tire and 100 in each front tire.
  25. I'm riding for the first time this winter!!!I'm looking for all the tips and tricks for riding and my setup.I have 200 studs in the rear and 100 in the front.Does that sound about right?for starters....I'll be riding on the lakes and running a drag on the pack snow not ice.
