I'm doing the same as flyin shee in Feburary.my machine is jetted perfect for the summer.(60-80)I have a cut lid w\o the snarkel.Not 100% on how to set this thing up.I will remove the lid and have a timing plate to adjust. I'm thinking 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn in on air screws,clip down one notch to richen.Confused about the main jet!!!!I would go two sizes up,but removing the air box lid could chage it more.???? 7 degree advanced with all race gas.What would be a good octane to run?

i have the pyrminds and like the steady pull through out the power band.They don't seem to hit really hard at a certain RPM just stays steady for better control.i never rode a shee with the Z-force but heard alot of people like them.

I'm interested in knowing what RPM's you guys are getting out of your SHEE'S

I always let my idle for a while.i just clean it out just a bit here and there.

YA, I put a tiny tach on.Made a home made alum. bracket and mounted it on the handle bars.

What type of mods will give a RPM increase?Is it the porting mostly?

The most I ever got is 8700 and thats on a nice cool night ride.my shee is far from stock.I hope 9500 is wrong or my jetting or something is messed up...???

we need to know all your mods first.I run 28's pwks with 45 polits,dyno jet neddle in 3 position and 150 mains for the summer.

I have after market carbs already 28mm flatslides.Hmmmm kinda sounds like I wont have a problem than.....

I was just reading a reply that Benbb wrote about jetting.Sounds like i'm on the right track about the air screws and mains.Just heard some stuff about needle changes, so just thought to see what some guys think.

I haven't heard to much about guys raiseing the needles for the winter.Do you guys richen the needles for the winter?I'm going to turn in the air screws and up the mains about 3-5 points depending on how cold it is.

I heard of this problem.I riding for the first time in winter.Do you guys know of any tricks to prevent this?I was just thinking of a dry lube for guns.what do ya think??

I'm going to have Matt shorten my swingarm soon for the trails.I have two questions.How will the shorter swingarm work on ice?I never rode the ice and plan to mess around on the local lakes this winter. I'm going to stud my old shredders for the ice.What size studs would be best?Do I want to go through the tire so they will not rip out or only into thr tread? Thanks Guys....
