lol, wow, I was trying to stay civil, what kind of christian are you with the personal attacks? lol I guess you think you're a big man cutting people down on the internet huh? Just so you know, I don't plan on jumping through your hoops because neither you nor your opinion mean shit to me, YOU are a waste of my time right now as I type this. And yes, arguing this subject is a waste of time. I go to school 5 days a week to further my education in hopes of making a better life for myself and maybe even make the community around me a little better, I live in the now, thankyou very much, beating this subject to death has no hope of making my life any better. In the end, I can't prove you wrong, and you can't prove me wrong, because I don't believe in your reasoning and you don't believe in mine, hence this post is now 204 pages long.

You obviously have studied this subject in great depth, you have me at a disadvantage there. I really don't like arguing this topic at all, and I don't study or think about this every day, waste of time, so its possible that some of my information is dated, but it really has no bearing anyways. Just because one intelligent person believes doesn't mean I should, there are plenty of very intelligent people who are not believers.

There is never enough proof for the unwilling, translation, doesn't exist. That is the probability. Unwilling? to do what? Believe in something in which I have no reason to? You bet I'm unwilling then, why wouldn't I be? Scenario: person 1 says, "I don't know you, but if you send me $1,000,000 I promise I'll give it back, but I'm not going to tell you who I am or sign a contract." person 2 says, "OK, I will because I have faith in you." You see how rediculous that sounds? I have as much reason to believe in the tooth fairy or Santa Claus as I do god. And I still believe there is morality without religion.

man can't create, we can only destroy.... end quote That may be the single most ignorant thing I have ever read or heard. And as far as there being proof of god all around us, our definitions of proof must be different because all I see in your "proof" is hearsay and fiction. In fact with the direction of this world there seems to be alot of "proof" that there is no god.

I don't know that saying atheist do what they want is a true statement, I know many that are what I consider to be good members of society, in fact I know of people who claim to be christians that are much less upstanding. The question of where good, bad, evil, love, hate, etc came from is a pretty deep one, human DNA has not been completely charted and some say the uncharted portion may hold the secret the human soul. I think it is easiest and quickest to just say god did it, and that is why that standpoint is so popular. If you don't understand it, then it must have been god. I can say one thing, if your god really does exsist, I sure wish he'd let us know, because then I would be happy to believe you. I'm the type of person that needs to see proof to believe, and your religion just cannot provide that proof.

We do NOT need religion to know the difference between good and bad, morals DO NOT depend on religion, have you ever seen a couple of dogs be courteous to one another? I have, and it probably wasn't because they went to church on Sunday.

rkc, You're right that my knowledge of the universe is very limited, but that makes me no different than anyone else, and thats why we can have this debate, because nobody KNOWS anything really. I believe in what I do because I apply the rules of science, math, and physics that I live by everyday to everything. They have never failed me and I have no reason at all to believe that these rules don't apply everywhere. For me to believe that there is some supernatural being that followed no rules at all but created all these rules for us to follow is just illogical, I just can't do it at this point.

I think the reason people feel so strongly about this whole religion thing is that they can't come to terms with the fact that they really are insignificant, they've gotta feel like there is some higher purpose I suppose, but deep down inside they know its all ficticious BS and thats why they can choose to be "religious" only when its convienient for them, so they can start wars and call people names one minute and then be a "good christian" the next minute. Ya just gotta live your life the best that ya can I guess, have a little fun and be good to others while your health allows ya to, because when its over its over, end of story.

rkc, You're correct that something is never created from nothing. Before the Big Bang there existed a great amount of energy which was in equilibrium probably in one single dimension. Where this energy originally came from and what caused the equilibrium to be upset we don't know yet, but we will in good time. If you are going to use physics to try to disprove my beliefs then you have to be ready to apply it to your own, where did god come from originally? How did he just make everything? Obviously he couldn't have just made everything from nothing right? So there must have been something here before god? Where did it come from? There are too many holes in christianity for you or anyone else to plug.

So let me get this straight. You think I'm smoking something because I believe in what the best scientists in the world believe and are well on their way to understanding, yet you believe some higher being with super powers magically created everything from nothing, wow, reminds me why I try to stay out of these arguements, really defines being close minded doesn't it

The universe was created by an explosion, a great release of energy which resulted in the creation of all mass in the universe, E=Mc^2. Big Bang The Big Bang theory was proven in 1989 by two Americans, Smoot and Mather I believe were their names. They were able to actually measure the faint light and cosmic rays still left over from the Big Bang. They just recently won the Nobel Prize in physics for their discovery and affirming the theory. That is solid physical evidence of how this universe was created, there is absolutely no physical evidence that anything of what the bible says happened on this earth is true, yet we found solid evidence of something that happened millions of light years away, hhhhmmmm. Why wasn't the proof of how our world was created written about in every newspaper and reported on every news channel? Probably because it would upset too many people. People are just too blind, most are not ready to accept the truth of what happened and continue to have "faith", But that doesn't change that fact that we know the truth to much greater extent than any religious followers know, they just choose to ignore it.

I wouldn't really say we have home field advantage, because 2 in Detroit and 2 in St. Louis is all its gonna take

New Kawsaki KFX450 pics
Master of Faster replied to ScreamingLiL2Stroke's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'm must have strange taste, cuz that thing looks like one ugly SOB to me. All chopped up, no flow, no sleekness about it. To each their own I guess, but deffinitely my least favorite of the 450's in the looks department. -
me too...

Pushing gear oil out, crank seal?
Master of Faster replied to Master of Faster's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Yeah, I think I'll just buy one rather than piece my own together and wonder if my results are inaccurate or if my tester is junk, thanks. -
Pushing gear oil out, crank seal?
Master of Faster replied to Master of Faster's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
hhhhmmmm, I've smoked my share of clutches before and none of them have made the oil milky. Typically when you have a milky white oil its water but I just put a brand new waterpump seal in it, and I checked the o-ring where the side case seals and sealed it with silicone also. At the same time the thing seemed to be running great and no excessive smoking. I guess I will have to get a leakdown tester to find out for sure. It has a new head gasket in it from about a month ago because it was pushing water out the overflow, however that was with a cheap aftermarket gasket, haven't had a problem since I put a good oem gasket back in it. I don't understand how water would get into the gearcase from a bad base gasket or head gasket though since the crankcase is seperate from the gearcase. -
Pushing gear oil out, crank seal?
Master of Faster replied to Master of Faster's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
No, not the coolant over flow. The oil is actually pushing through the crankcase vent. There is the tube that is at the back/top of the cases and there is also the tube that hooks into the case behind the water pump cover, they "T" together above the carbs and then the line runs up over top of the steering hoop. Oil is pushing all the way through there and then dumping out on my pipe. I know absolutely that it is not the coolant over flow as I have that run underneath the quad and also I haven't been losing any coolant at all. -
Pushing gear oil out, crank seal?
Master of Faster replied to Master of Faster's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
No it doesn't appear to be. I didn't have any excessive smoke from that side. -
Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my Banshee pushing gear oil up through the overflow when I'm running it hard. A couple weeks ago I noticed my oil turning milky so I did the obvious thing and put in a new waterpump seal and made sure everything was sealed up tight. Well last trip out with fresh oil to start it started pushing oil out the overflow, I checked the oil and its milky again, I'm thinking possibly the right side crank seal is leaking which is pressurizing the crankcase and the fuel/oil is turning the gear lube milky. What do you guys think?

Hotcams recommended valve lash will cause more noise than stock. Personally I think there specs are a little loose. I've installed a couple hotcams in Raptors and usually set them at .005 intake and .007 exhaust which is tighter than what Hotcams recommends but has worked great thus far.

8 paddle Haulers should be enough for your setup. I'd bet its more of a gearing problem, I think more tire would probably kill your bike, go to stock gearing 14/41, less shifting, more wheel speed to get you out of the hole. Get up on the tank and launch in 2nd and then shift your weight back to the tires and you'll be flyin.

Probly be there the weekend after, too many people on the 4th weekend.

Two obvious things to check would be cable adjustment and the clutch pushrod adjustment. If these are both OK then your clutch basket may be grooved badly and need replacing.
