  1. I'll take the tires and wheels. And the MSR shifter. Sent you a PM
  2. My crew usually doesn't travel out of Michigan to ride, would like to make a Canada trip though, but if you're ever over this way hit me up with a PM. We got lots of good trails and some real good drag racing weekends, would be fun.
  3. Deap Op, if you have that much money in your sled and it was doing 135 on radar, then hats off to ya, nothin easy about doin that, especially with a zr600. I was just trying to make the point that the new Yammi's can run with or better than anything out there and still remain trailable in most cases. Yes, there are still some monster nitrous triples out there that can beat the turbos in shorter distances, but it takes alot more cash, alot more time, and an untrailable sled. For my money, the turbo Yammis are where it's at. Props to you for your good runnin sled though
  4. My point exactly, a 250-300 hp rx-1 can still be trail ridden all week long, and lay a whoopin on your buddies F-9 on the weekend, that's performance in my book. 135 on the speedo is 118-119 on the radar at best, that RX was readin in the 150's to pull 138 on radar. Big discretion on sled speedo's that most don't account for.
  5. It's all in the setup, who works on the sled is what makes it fast. There are no fast stock sleds period. If anybody here wants to run my RX-1 with ANY trail rideable twin on the ice, any distance. Look me up this winter, and bring your money with ya, that's all I got to say. http://www.totallyamaha.net/vids/MVI_0600.AVI By the way, that sled^^^, is completely trailridable and that radar gun says 138 mph.
  6. The only place an F7 or ZR9 is fast is in a short distance race on loose snow or on the grass. Out on the lakes where we race the only twin cylinder sled we even take seriously is the new Mach Z. You can only go so fast with two cylinders, Arctic Can't made a big mistake droppin the T-Cat.
  7. Cool, yeah, I'm on TY every day. Just not too much to post on being out of season. I'm ready to see the snow flyin again, afraid I'm gonna hafta wait awhile though
  8. Lol, no kiddin, you cat guys must be excellent mechanics by now
  9. Have you seen the Modzilla sled? Built by Anderson. I think that one runs in Wisconsin too but not sure. It has twin 1400cc Union Bay motors. One of the last runs I saw it blew a belt at 1400 ft and coasted through the 2000' traps at 192.2 mph
  10. If you guys ever get a chance to jump on a turbo RX-1 or Apex do it. The power isn't like a normal turbo charged vehicle, Especially on the front mount turbos there is NO LAG. Instant power right from 0. And completely trailable too, just turn the knob down and you get the low 190 hp setting, lol. Simons CPR lake race turbos are now over 400 hp. Jeff Simons' full bodied, stock chassis turbo RX-1 went over 150 mph this last winter.
  11. Yep, it's a whole different world, once you've ridden a 265hp turbo RX-1 that'll do the 1/4 in 8 secs on pump gas, makes any Banshee I've ever ridden feel like a joke.
  12. I'll still take it if it gets to my turn
  13. I'm lookin for billet covers for my banshee, really want the stator cover, just hate to pay $300 for one If you got anything else polished for sale lemme know too.
  14. I've done it, ya gotta have a spring compressor. Compress the spring and the end of the shock unthreads off the shaft so you can pull the spring off. You can make your own spring compressor out of a couple ratchet straps if you want.
  15. I'll take that lower right a-arm, sent you a PM.
  16. I'd like to hear this too, no piston should be noisy if the cylinder is properly bored for the piston. And as far as forged pistons not lasting as long as cast, definitely like to hear your explanation on that too, I'd have to call BS on that. Only downside to forged pistons that I'm aware of is that they expand further during the warmup process and are more prone to being cold stuck if not properly warmed up I always run wiescos and I think most others here do too.
  17. I refer to it as toe-out on turns. If you check it out you will most likely find that your car/truck/suv does the same thing.
  18. I'm all over the right one But here's a free bump for the left side.
  19. Hey guys, had a little accident last night. I'm In need of a stock upper right a-arm, an axle and at least one shock. Lemme know what ya got, thanks. Edit: Just deiscovered I'll also be needing a front wheel. Doesn't matter what color.
  20. If you can't solve it with jetting check your ignition. I just went through the same problem, turned out to be a bad spark plug boot
  21. Yep, your crank is fine, go ahead and put it together. I have to agree though it doesn't make much sense that they wouldn't use the same pin in the clutch side bearing as in the other three, must be some reason, but I can't think of it.
  22. What does almost missing mean? One of the outer bearings doesn't have a large pin in it like the other three bearings, I believe it is the clutch side bearing, it just has a very small dimple. If that's what you talking about then that is fine, any way you could post a pic?
  23. Our stock shee did 71.3 on the gps on pavement last weekend (14-41). T-5 piped Banshee with vitos power pistons did 80.3(14-41) and my Fatty piped and ported shee did 86.7 (15-41) These were approximately 1/4 mile runs and repeated multiple times for accuracy, all speeds from a Garmin gps.
  24. Well, I'm gonna let em go because I haven't been able to find any info anywhere for them. Here's the link if anyone wants to take a look. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
