  1. Exactly!!!!! The thread I'm talking about is the link I posted a few posts above, don't worry about saying anything; this happened around Christmas time, no need to dig up old dirt if you know what I mean. I'm not mad about it, I just removed the video so no one else would get "offended" by it, didn't want any more flaming about the video from future viewers. It's water under the bridge now, I just lost some respect for Team Monster Racing for being so hypocritical about it...it was OK one minute and wrong the next I still like the site though, it will be good for the future of asphalt racing
  2. Changed the pilot to a 50, didn't have the 45 or 48 I thought I had but it got much better, but now its dumping gas out the overflow...time to go check the float :shoothead:
  3. To be 100% honest, if I reposted the videos, then it would be going against what he's trying so hard to get done...a conflict of interest. You can't flame someone then ask them to repost what they flamed you about...the videos are on putfile if anyone wants to see them at any time, under my username. I didn't see anything wrong with the vids, but it sure got his panties in a bunch.
  4. Just ran it for a minute and pulled both plugs and they both were wet with gas, and looked almost identical in color. Neither one of them were black at all, just wet. I'm gonna drop the pilot to a 45 and see what happens. I really appreciate everyone's input  I also noticed the left side was blowing a little oil out too, just didn't seem as much as the right side....maybe it's just really rich
  5. Understood!
  6. I'd love for you to elaborate. Is Ron the one that goes by Team Monster Racing? I don't know what to think about that guy, one minute he was really liking my pictures and vids I posted, even used one of my pics on his ebay ad then started bashing me about wearing a t-shirt while running on the track..saying it's bad for the sport and screwing things up for everyone, but he was using that picture to promote his site :shoothead: ....even though I had a helmet, gloves, jeans, and boots on. It's really no big deal to me but it gives me an idea about his character... http://www.planetasphault.com/board/index.php?showtopic=68 You can even see where he edited his original post saying "very nice, thanks"...to just a smiley, then proceeded to jump my case about what I was wearing. Maybe he's bipolar
  7. Yes, new plugs, compression is perfect in both cylinders as mentioned before (159 psi), this is a fresh rebuild from the bottom end up. I've never run a 2 into 1 carb before. I changed everything on this rebuild so all parts are new. Cylinders are new, head is new, reeds are new, carb and intake is new, crank is new, all cranks seals and gaskets are new....so it's not an old setup with a new carb...it's a completely new setup
  8. It's funny you mentioned that because a friend of mine that tried it out when it first came out, hated it. But now that it's released, support and compatibility is increasing and he was telling me it's getting better. We were talking about it today at work. I'm going to do the same as you, let it come out and be out for a while, and once the bugs are gone I'll throw it on one of the laptops and see what it's about.
  9. The needle is the only thing I'm unsure of; I never bothered to pull it out and check it. I plan to pull it out this weekend though just for knowledge sake. All 4 reed petals are flush against the cages, I was sure to check that when I replaced them. Could the needle affect idling though? My buddy had mentioned something about maybe my main being fat was causing a problem, but the main doesn't have an affect on idling, I was under the impression the pilot jet along with the air screw were the only things that affect idle. And when the needle is seated nothing should come out of the main jet, right? Thanks for the help
  10. Thanks! I just went out there and sprayed around the intakes, etc. and didn't hear any change so I'm assuming there's no leak there...I'll get the stuff together to do a leak down test tomorrow and check it too. I have a 45 and 50 pilot on hand to try, I was just planning on waiting until I got all the jets I should need before messing with it. Has anyone had a problem similar to this one? Other than a seal or gasket, could the jetting alone cause one cylinder to run different than the other? Like I said before, 2 into 1 setups are totally new to me and I had a feeling this wasn't going to be easy, lol Also, the oil mixture is 32:1, klotz super techniplate - 93 octane gas Any opinions are greatly appreciated
  11. I really look forward to seeing how yours runs, do you plan to take it to any tracks and get some time slips? I just got my frame back tonight from getting lightened, along with the wheelie bar completed. If all goes well I'm hoping to have it pretty much wrapped up by the end of the month. It'll give me a chance to put some seat time on it before LS...
  12. Alright...I'm trying to get my trail bike to idle right, it seems like it's lean but don't know for sure; here's what's happening. I'll pull the choke and fire it up and it runs, but the left side is heating up quicker and the right side is spitting a little oil out the pipe, and doesn't seem to fire as smooth as the left side. When I push the choke off, it wants to die. To me, that sounds like it's lean, but why the oil spitting out of the right pipe? I would think it's rich, but the fact that the choke being out makes it run better, leads me to believe its lean. LOL, I don't know WTF is happening...this is my first run at jetting a 2 into 1 setup, I'm almost tempted to can it and go back to duals. I've ruled out compression and the coil, reeds are brand spankin new, as well as all gaskets. I've got level 1 ported cylinders (comparable to a woods port) T5's 2 into 1 w/38mm keihin PJ carb w/K&N clamp on filter - 55 pilot, 210 main to start with I'm around 400 ft elevation What are your thoughts? I've got a bag of jets coming, and figured I would see what you all think I should do before I tear into the jetting. If there's any details I left out, let me know Thanks for any help
  13. lmao, you guys are crackin' me up :yelrotflmao:
  14. If you can't find what you're looking for...I have a set of black shock covers, and a set of yellow ones I'll be happy to get rid of
  15. Thank you so much guys...I really appreciate the advice!
  16. That sounds exactly like what happened to me...every time it happened I was out riding and it would twist, pop out, then pop back in and would hurt like hell for several days, then slowly get better. I guess I should go ahead and have it checked out, what kind of specialist should I go to, or should I go to a reg. doctor and have them recommend a particular type of doctor? Thanks for the help woodro, this problem has always been in the back of my mind, hoping it wouldn't get worse...but it happened 3 times last year
  17. Damn, that's some shitty luck right there! When you said you had a fracture in the joint, what exactly does that mean? Reason I ask is because I had a lot of trouble out of my knee last year and it felt like it would pop out, and then back in, but was sore for a while afterwards...to the point it was painful to walk. I wonder if maybe I fractured something small. Glad to hear you got back on a banshee, I just picked up another one myself!
  18. Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words!!! You all are high class people and I'd do anything I can to help out LOL, about the packaging...I had did like you suggested, taped them up, then wrapped them in plastic wrap and taped them one more time, and UPS wanted to charge me 10 bucks more per package because it was an "odd shaped" package...so I bought two boxes for 10 bucks, and saved 10 bucks overall by throwing the tires in the boxes. The post office isn't strict about that stuff like UPS is....I just like dealing with the UPS store cause they have a few hotties working in there that are always a pleasure to deal with  Glad you got the tires, Brad! If there's anything else I can hook you up with, just let me know! It's always a pleasure
  19. I'm no transmission pro by far but it sounds like you could have bent your shift forks somehow, you may have to go ahead and split the cases and check everything out. I'm sure someone else will chime in though and might be able to advise you better
  20. Congratulations Simon!!! That's awesome!
  21. I think as long as you got the 5.7 hemi, Jeff, it should work no problem. They usually make the design per engine, rather than year (so to speak)
  22. Did it occur to you that maybe the reason no one is replying in your other thread is because you said you need to unplug the tors box, and just maybe we're waiting for you to do that to see if your problem still exists? Have you unplugged it? Sorry if I'm coming across harsh, but you have to take care of the obvious before anyone is going to go in depth to help you, especially if you already know something needs to be done. That tors box must be unplugged from the wiring harness.
  23. LMAO, one guy gets turned down at $225 and then another guy offers $200, like that has a chance in hell...People are so damn retarded these days... :shoothead: Good luck on the sale, I'd put it on ebay if it doesn't sell by tomorrow
  24. It depends on your elevation. Where do you live?
  25. I would scratch the port idea, cause after it's ported, you should run either an aftermarket crank or get your stocker trued and welded, then you'll want bigger carbs because the stockers just won't do a port job justice, then you'll want the head to bump up compression...etc, etc. You just don't port a set of cylinders and leave everything else stock, I highly recommend getting a head, lightened flywheel, and advance your timing with an adjustable plate. Best bang for the money you have to spend
