  1. What kind of riding do you mostly do? TR6 is supposed to be a good all around pipe for stock engines...CPI's are more for top end but aren't as intense as shearers. I wouldn't recommend getting the shearers unless you do a lot of racing and/or have ported cylinders. Just my thoughts
  2. SOS PADS!! Won't hurt the chrome and you'll be surprised at how much you can get off of there
  3. I'm not sure if you can replace them or not, if you can I think it may only be either the top or bottom, I can't remember. Back in the day I tried to do the same and was told I couldn't do it by someone, and I ended up just buying aftermarket shocks. I could be wrong though
  4. That's about the norm, Saturday at noon by the south entrance sounds great to me. There are more people coming, they all haven't added their name to the list...
  5. Amen to that, I'm in for a treat myself
  6. Come get some I'm still heat cycling mine, lol...I haven't even had the chance to run it up the street and check how the jetting is; but she puuuurrrrs  I'm about to post some pics in my post if you want to see it in the light, haha
  7. How do you like them apples?
  8. Make sure the flywheel is lined up with the woodruff key, and use an impact to tighten the nut, that's it!
  9. Just replace everything, lol, it's what I do
  10. Yessssir!!! Found the ground wire for the CDI wasn't hooked up :shoothead: Fired right up after that. Now it's time to get all the little things done, but it will be making the trip as long as I don't blow it up before then
  11. My new cover is really black, but it's crushed velvet
  12. It is for this upcoming weekend, but that's not when our trip is planned, so it can rain ALL it wants to!
  13. It's together but won't start. I've got a few things to check before I toss the towel in for it making the trip, but I'm keeping my hopes up. I spent over 25 hours working on it this weekend, I'm spent, LOL
  14. Don't get me wrong, riding at night is friggin awesome! I rode for a little while last time and had a great time, and am definitely going to do it again. I just think new comers to the dunes should be especially cautious all the time, and even more so at night.
  15. That pretty much sums it up! Never hit anything without checking it out first. ALWAYS see what's on the other side of the dune before you go over top of it. If it's your first time to the dunes, I wouldn't recommend riding at night. Know your area before you go, and remember to keep your eyes open all the time..people come flying from all directions  Man, I love the dunes!!! :woot: Only 12 days left for me, damn it's getting close....
  16. Sounds like my kind of racing...count me in for sure
  17. Is the track on a hill, or on flat ground? Only reason I ask is because of you mentioning king of the hill...is that just a term for anyone and everyone can enter, and whoevers the fastest is the winner overall? Sounds like a damn good time
  18. Sounds easy enough! I was just out that way a couple weeks ago
  19. Sounds good! Got any directions?
  20. What size tires are you running? If they're 22's, a 13 tooth front wouln't be that bad...but if they're 20's, you will want to stick to a 14
  21. No, I wouldn't mess with it. One tooth less in the rear will give you a touch more top speed, you may not even notice it. 1 tooth up front is equal to 3 teeth in the rear, just FYI
  22. I'd love to, Randy and I both are planning to do some travelling this year...so consider it a definite!
  23. That's cool, I figured I would do what I could to help! You should run it anyway, you'll be alright. The sand isn't going to grip like the dirt does, bring it anyways with your daughters bike. You never know!
  24. 27.5 pilot, 280 main, maybe a 270.
