I just found out my boss is gonna let me have off that Thursday through Monday! I plan to be there late Thursday evening, but I have no idea exactly where to go to meet up with you guys. I know I can find the dunes, and I might meet up with Big Blue on the way but nothing's definite. I might have to get someone's cell # to be able to call them just to be sure I find you guys! It will be my first trip to any dunes, I can't wait!

My packing didn't smell if I recall correctly...May be the type of packing you used, not sure though. I used some Moose packing in mine. I'd say as long as it's not flaming out you silencers, give it a ride or two and see if it's still there

when do you think you will be heading down? ill try to leave thursday if you want we can meet up. That's what I'm hoping to do...leave Thursday morning, but I'm not sure what my work will allow me to do. I just used up almost all my vacation time last month when I got married Anyhow, my boss comes back tomorrow and I'm gonna try and swing a deal with him and get that time off. Sounds like the deal I got on my banshee. I picked up mine for 500, everything but running. Had DG pipes, boyeson reeds, decent tires...all was in good shape. Put a new top end on it, replaced the crank seal and replaced the carbs (400) I had a running banshee for under a grand Granted, over time I've replaced all the bearings, brakes, sprockets, etc..but I still don't have but maybe 2,000 in it Good deals ARE out there, you just have to look hard and know what to look for...nice find Nightrider!

That's what I did...and the beauty of it is the only jetting change you "might" need to do when you go with the T-5's is maybe bump your pilot up to a 30...maybe Who knows though, my shee might just like a fat pilot Good luck to ya!

From my experience, I would not use Fusion paint again...If I were to ever paint my plastics again, I would sand em down, primer them with a good primer, and paint them with a good quality paint from a spray gun...not a rattle can. Definitely use a flex agent, and follow it with multiple clear coats for protection...I used the Fusion paint which didn't do too bad, but came off the bottom of the rear fenders with the quickness because of all the sand/rocks/mud that was slung up on them. And when it did start to peel off in other areas, it would have a "ripple" effect and then it turned scary...I'm in the market for new plastics now cause it didn't really work out... Just me .02 for ya
