a dunable over will let it shift with it wot.. but sounds like you need several other mods before you worry bout an dunable...

im curious what it will be.. i would hope more then 60.. cus im biulding something similiar and hope to close to 80 if not over...

if you have tors they could me screwing up ... make sure its plugged in or cut the shit off call toomeys and get a carb top kit...

that there pretty much sums it up... 1987 tech and ppl put o7,06 against it comparing.. hell if they put r/d in a banshee it would be out of everyones league... no one would touch it riding backwards with 2 plugs fouled...

you might need to clean carbs too could have clogged jets.. this would cause backfire and bog...

sounds like carb issues too me.. check your choke tube and also make sure you put slides in the right carb.. they only go in one way but if you get in wrong carb they are backwards... might check your throttle cable too .. make sure its not in a bind when you put everything back together...

sounds like bad timing and after 2 yrs and tons of hrs it went after you put pipes on.. i would suggest you split the cases and make sure there is nutin in the case.... but to answer your qeustion no there would not be left over rings from 2 yrs ago just now working it way to piston to screw things up... i might suggest using a diff kind of oil if this is second time this has happended or something... but 2 yrs on a motor with tons of hrs isnt bad...

why are you boring 30 over??? you shouldnt be boring unless its needed and your compression will be good cus you will basically have a fresh motor your just making the pstons bigger is all.. but boring should only be done if needed..

do like jeff says tear your clutch side cover off and look in there.. but my guess would be the bolt that is in the shift shaft for the adjustment of the shift star is prolly broke.. it a flat head stud type bolt and goes in between the c of the shift shaft on the clutch side of the motor look there.. it will be pretty much center of the case from looking on the clutch side .. look right on the left side edge of basket right behind there is where its at...

whats the diff from a 92 or a 99???? thats right nutin.. they should work .. only reason they wouldnt work is if they have mid pipes and high rev sil or vice versa...

sound like you might have a warped head.. put a striaght edge on it...

just tell the guy you need rims to fit an 06 if the your wheels fit an 06..you must have newer hubs.. if you say 87 they won't fit cus there bigger.. a blaster hub is diff then both but you can put banshee hubs on a blaster axle cus splines are the same.. i know this cus i have blaster for my son and swapped hubs to run my banshee wheels ..plus my bro used to have an 89 and his hubs were diff so we got 04 450 hubs put on his so now we all run same wheels 91 or newer banshee hubs (bolt pattern)basically

i have a minus 2.5 for sale comes with bearing carrier and everything... easy chain adjustment and it will handle totally diff shortens wheelbase moves motor closer to rear end for more traction... might even make it easier to wheelie!!!! :shoothead: pm me for info
