  1. i would suggest a clymer manual.. it will help you check it make sure its not all out of adjustment .. is the arrow on the top of the case lining up with the arrow on the clutch arm coming out of the case??? start there. you might just need to adjust it up on the bars or take off your cover and adjust the bolt in the clutch..
  2. plain and simple pot is illegal --- beer is not..
  3. you dont use a head gasket for a coolhead thats what the orings are for..

  6. i have a minus swinger and i have rode dunes with it.. i mainly got it for tt but i dune some too.. but i was running 10 paddle extreme haulers. i didnt have a problem hell for lil while i was even riding double with my wife with no problems.. unless i stopped cus there was so much traction i would dig a hole at take off... but yes a shorter swingarm will move the weigh closer to rear end for more traction .. will also let it fly lil better by moving the weight up front.. and better turning..

  9. have engine warm .. if its cold metal will exspand and give bad reading..it will be close tohu but get it running and warmed up before you check..

  18. i think we all agree its not the 6 bucks.. 6 bucks is nothing nowadays... its the fact it was a free site and now isnt.. more about principle.. does there really need to be a charge on a site like ps ??? the sponsers should cover the cost of the site.. somebody is trying to make a livin from us.. im glad we have a web master like lee.. he does it for the banshee not for the money.. but i welcome any new members cus of the situation..
  19. you need to rid the old paint so the powder will bond better.. i would bead blast then just make sure you dont hit the cyl walls or the intake...
  20. the main thing about your compression check is for both cyl to match if one is way off time to tear it down.. if you are at 100 you be ok as long as thay match .. and like the guy said your motor will tell you by the way it starts..

  23. the kitis bout 150 bucks then you gotta buy arms atleast top ones so compare your cost .. it will be hard to find a frame cheaper with papers.. myself wouldnt buy a used frame without papers last thing you need is numbers to match a stolen bike and they take it from you when everything was yours but the frame...

  25. "meat" on here sells a kit to convert i think 150 bucks..
