  1. Spacers are terrible for your bearings and I would NEVER run spacers on a mx track or any kind of jumping, because sooner or later, they will fail and become sloppy. That could be why it's unstable, or it could be the toe-in. Just measure center to center on the front tires at the front of the bike, then measure the front tires on the back side, 180 degrees from your first measurement and there should be no more than a difference of 1/4", 0 to 1/8th is best and the front should be the smaller number. I'd lift the front wheels off the ground and check for wobble by hand and see if there's up and down movement, then I'd shitcan the spacers and pay up for a wider axle.
  2. find any crack in the cylinders, or how about meth in the exhaust pipes???
  3. They killed it with maiers craptor plastic thats made to fit on 'shees. Mike what a fugly bastard. Looks like a f'ing Rapter 350.
  4. I'll pm you with my phone number. I ride at least once a week, usually twice. Sometimes Murray, sometimes Bulcher up out of Muenster. Don't know many the other direction except for Bonham which I've heard sucks and gets really small quick. We'll definitly have to go ride, i didn't realize you lived so close. How old are you? I don't know if I'll get my handlebars back in time for the upcoming weekend, I should though. Not sure if you were talking about this weekend or next. I haven't ridden a lot of tracks around here, but am planning to make it to the one they call the North Fourty over in sherman. Supposed to be alright, and I like to hit the tracks to do some suspension dialing.
  5. Van Alstyne, no shit. Do you know or ride with anyone from around here?? Why don't you go up to Lake Murray or something with me sometime.
  6. thanks. showoff!!
  7. what's your compression with the 20s?? Mine with 21s was around 128 even on both jugs. I'm thinking I'm getting close to top end time. ... and where the hell are you at??
  8. is it me, or does that banshee look... well... different??
  9. Dammit. I was wanting to bump my compression up a little more and was sure I had 22cc domes in the bizatch. I ordered some 21s from Dave a couple weeks ago and wanted to put them on after the last race. Well, I'm just now getting to it, took it all off, and I have 21s in the ho, so I need some 20s. I guess I'll just cover her up and have Dave overnight me a couple or something. Dammit. I don't want to put it all back together and then take it apart again when the domes get here. Oh well, just wanted to vent a little.
  10. thanks, just wanted to be sure.
  11. Cool, I always second guess myself with my little 3/8" torque wrench.
  12. Yeah, i don't have a clue WTF Big Bear is... and it's gonna be hard to jet right that will take you from sea level to 6,000'. Start thinking Dial-a-Jet!!

    Olds

Can you guys post a good pic of Olds hill? Ultimateduner, my in-laws are in Scottsdale, and I lived there for about 3 years, got married there and then left, but I come back 2 or 3 times a year. Nice place to be, definitely. I lived out under the McDowell mtns.
  14. Well, the jetting isn't always gonna be the same. While they may have tried all those pipes on the same bike without changing the jetting, to have the pipes run to their full potential, they very well should've been rejetted or some adjusmtents might have been in order. From my little bit of experience, the FMFs like another size or two on the main from the Toomeys, but every single bike is different and who knows. But just to throw on a set and go, even if it's jetted for a different type of pipe, isn't completely accurate. My fatties will hang and then some with any comparable T5 setup, dunes, mx, whatever. In fact, let me grab a couple dyno I have comparing the two and a few others. These runs are on a 370 long rod, but you can see the comparison between the two pipes. They're very similar in hp, though the T5 is a little higher and more overrev, but the Fatty torque is stronger. First is hp, second it torque.
  15. F*^k it, why not just go ahead with 27s or 28s. Get Holymans rear 50 tooth and a 12 tooth up front and your pimpin.
  16. Go to RockyMountainATV.com and buy one or two of their sticker kits. They have all that stuff in there.
  17. Sweeeet!!!
  18. I was at 15/41 and the race last weekend was pretty tight and i tried a 15/42 and I notice a wee bit more pull down low and I like this setup a lot. But, I'm forever playing with my setup, so who knows where i'll be next week.

    pistons?

    Girls girls...
  20. hahahahahahahahah, it's called gearing bro. like smoker said, it ain't got the testes down there to do it. either go to a 42 or 44 rear and try again or go back down to a 16 front. How often are you in 6th anyway.
  21. i don't really see what your talking about, but... i've been drinking, i have the tv up on the puter and i'll worry bout it later...
  22. Run the PC2's unless you ride where there is sound restrictions. The PC2's sound great and they're what your looking for. oh yeah, and my kickstart doesn't rattle.
  23. I'd say if you don't have a rear axle, get a wider one before you get a arms. if you do have a wider axle, then get the shocks next.
  24. In regards to the 404 kit's power, where does the power come, down low, in the mid, or mostly top. I've been toying with the idea of a LR kit, but Vito's kit intrigues me as well. If it helped smooth the power coming in the mid and possible a little more low, i'd give it more consideration. Thanks.
  25. I'd add Gibson and Laegers to that list. With that, that's all I'd buy new. I'd probably by Gibson or Roll Design personally.
