  1. I was up there a couple weekends ago and was talkin to the chick there. She was saying you can ride all night if you wish and that they are getting ready to add another 1,000 or so acres to the west. They already own it, but are getting ready to open it up to the atvers.
  2. A local guy can pump me some Sunoco 104. GT Plus is what they call it and it's oxygenated at 4.5 wt. It's a light blue color and some sweet shit, main downfall is it's 6.25 or 6.50 a gallon. But once you run it, it's like coke, severly addicting.
  3. IMS is the way to go, and if you want really trick, get the quick fill adaper. You can usually get one in the same color as your plastic if you want it that way and then put your decals on it, hell, they won't even know your running one.
  4. take a shit before you ride
  5. YES or as close to one as you can get.
  6. That's just the oring off from the coolhead. the left one went with the head and the right one stayed with the cylinder. No worries fellas. Also, same with the studs, the two missing went with the head.

  11. You have stock or want stock...
  12. Got the 20cc domes in, finally, been waiting since Tues. They now are a respectable 148 and 150. Thet's a little more than I was planning seeing as I was just around 125 before, I'm thinking the hose I was using in between the tester the plug hole must've had a leak or something, I have two different attachments that fit the tester and the plug holes. The first one with the hose in the middle I did only registered around 120 and I was like WTF and so I tried the other, which eliminated a center hose and was more of a direct connect to the hole and it went to 148. So, officially, 148 and 152 were what I got out of the two. With +4 timing, I'm as high as I wanna be. I'm gonna try some 110 my buddy has for the hell of it. But, I'd say it's a big success!! Now, it's time to work on my carb and manifold setup to see if I can find a leak I've been trying to find for 8 months or so. Oh yea, a pic of my cylinders and pistons while the cap was off.
  13. For cold starting, are you using the choke or not? What's your needle set at?
  14. no because they dont make a slow speed camera slow enough to film one. Nice one!!
  15. Please do!!
  16. You know it...
  17. No. Start big. Lincster is right, however, I'd adjust the main jet sizes a little. I'd say buy from a 330 to 280. Start your jetting at 310 and see what you have. Then, you can read the plug and determine if it's rich or not. If it's rich, then you can go down to a 300 and so on. You probably won't need richer than a 300 or even maybe a 310, in some cases, but always start towards the rich side and work down, much easier and much much safer. You will probably need to bump your pilot from a 25 to a 27.5 also. BTW, jet kits suck. They only send you stuff designed for a totally stock motor, no one will take into consideration your new filter setup or that the lid may be off, so your paying dough for a bunch of shit you really don't need. It's best to figure out where you think you need to be, like asking here as you did, and then get what stuff you actually need and either save some dough or use it where it should be spent. Toomey sells a jet kit and/or they send some jets and/or a needle with the pipes, and it's a waste. They sell a "toomey" needle that is basically a stock blaster needle and they never seem to work right from my epxerience, so the stock needles are fine.
  18. try changing the plugs then if it's still there, there maybe an issue in the carb, maybe the air screw on the one side needs some adjustment. I've seen where the air screw on one may be a little more in or out when compared to the other.
  19. Thanks Blue, I'm gonna check UPS this morning because Dave, aka dlnoss, was going to overnight some to me yesterday, so they should be in the shitbox today. I'll know in the next hour. If it don't work out, then I'll pm you some info. Thanks again for the offer.
  20. a 15/41 is the perfect setup for a piped banshee, in my opinion. You'll love it for trail riding, much less shifting and you can hold gears longer. It's what I've ran for over a year. I just recently swapped to a 15/42 because the xc race i was in got really tight and i wanted a slightly lower gear. try it and you'll like it.
  21. I'll give ya 50 bucks for your Passion cylinders.
  22. Alright peeps, check under your sofa cushions, call all your cousins and put the words out. I am on a quest to find a dyno sheet on a single carbed banshee. If anyone knows where one is, please lie, cheat and steal to get it. I'm sure there has to be one out there somewhere and I'm sick of the "which is better" and just so we have something to base off of. Ok, you all know what to do, now go find one!!
