  1. The Lightings and SRT's are both sweet trucks. I thought i heard somewhere that ford was going to redo the Lighting for 05, with some ungodly numbers pushing the 500hp marker(rumor???) They were supposed to have messed with AC(air conditioning) and routed it so that it forced cold air in the intake. I just read in the latest issue of OFF-ROAD, that Dodge is going to be redoing the HEMI, and is reported to be pushing 400hp. (and) ford is redoing their big V8 to compete with it..... good luck duc, thats a sweet ride!
  2. this or if you dont have one of those, this we've always used an old box spring to clear/groom trials. Got the job done just fine...
  3. i dont know about the o-neals, but dont expect em to be real easy to move in. i've had my Astars for 2 years now and they are still hard as rocks....that may be a good thing though... but i do like the "run them over w/ the car" idea.....

  6. I have the twist, that gets rid of the TORS(twist throttle, cable, carb caps), but dont have air screws for the carbs. used. was on the bike for about 3 months. I used the bike maybe 4 times with it on..i may even have a new Scott grip(blue) to put on it.... PM me or email [email protected]
  7. I've been there a few times. Not all that exciting. It's pretty much just a piss stop in the middle of the desert, till ya get to Cali..... ... TI's pretty nice, they just redid the pool area, and put in a night club. MGM, Venetian, and Bellagio also have night clubs in em, that are open just about every night of the week. Strip clubs, toss a quarter, your bound to hit one. Just about all of em have decent chicks... If your into sight seeing, Hoover Damn's about a half hour out of town, or Lake Mead(largest man made lake in the US...i know, woo hoo... ) or you could go to Red Rock Canyon..rock climbing, jeep trails, picnic areas... if your gonna stay on the strip, i wouldnt walk past the Stratosphere(at night)....it gets kinda "shady" in that area... Motorsports- There's the speedway, and even if there isnt anything going on, Shelby(Carol) has a shop out there. Some pretty intresting cars on display. oh and pahrump is only 45 minutes away (legal prostitution)

  10. My nephew(10yo, 5'0",70-80lbs,) has the Raptor 80. Other then taking my banshee out ONCE(yeah i know...) for a short ride, he has no riding experience, and took to this bike rather fast. He's had it for a few years now, and still enjoys riding it. We ride mostly dunes, and hard packed sandy areas. He has no problem staying w/ me on rides. My friends' daughter(8 or 9yo, 4'?" ??lbs) has the same bike. The only experience she's had was riding my nephews 80 a few times. Shes only had it for about 5 or 6 months now, but can ride fairly decent(yes she can out ride my nephew... ) Both bikes have been rolled a few times and still are in great shape. The only down side is that the bike doesnt have head lights. Which isn't really that big a deal, but still would be nice. here's a link to it on Yamahas website...Raptor 80

  18. i hate reading......
  19. In Cali? With their laws??? i doubt it. Did you tell the person from the Highway Patrol, that it was a 2 stroke and not a four stroke quad? That alone, i would think, would be reason enough for it not to be street legal. another factor is the VIN number. newer ones(2 strokes) dont have enough digits in the VIN, for DMV to recognize. (must have a certin amount of letters/numbers) At least that is the way it is here, and i know you guys are a lot more strict, when it comes to emmisions regulations and stuff. Why would you want to ride the banshee on the street anyway? It's too wide to split lanes, so you end up stiiing in traffic anyway...and you know how our bikes love to sit at idle... If you want a get a 2 stroke for the street, get a little Aprilia RS50..
  20. i dont see why not. it's not going to eat away at anything, if that's what your worried about. go get some simple green, or other industrial strength degreaser, for all the caked on crud, and save the carb cleaner for when you really need it.
  21. Ask pops if you can use one of those bikes, till you get the cash to get your own ride.... my dad, would've told me to go pound dirt, but hey, everyone's different....
  22. if he already said he'd pay to have the stuff fixed. make him a deal, and split the cost of the repairs.....That way you wont feel so bad for making him pay for it all. I had that happen to my car a while bad too...sucks....good luck man!! hope those F-in bastards that broke into your car get theres!!
  23. What do you have right now?
  24. Gargamel, is that your triple 9????? I got to ride my buddies 999s, last week....oh man.... ...
  25. Shoei for the dirt, and Arai for the street....I'd like to get one of those chrome peanut shell "bikerboyz" style helmets..those things are the shizzle...
