  6. for me it's the difference between coming down with clean drawes or not.......im gonna round up a few locals and see if they wanna ride from here to there, if i buy the beer i have a friend that will carry provisions in his rock crawler and follow us out, its fairly close as the crow flies or the banshee in this instance..........
  7. id try to get those arms....you need to lower the bike to corner better, the 18's will help, but dont like deep ruts, make sure you have plenty of sag in your rear shock, try running zero compression and about 60% rebound that will help you squat and not rise as fast, id shorten my swing arm also, youll like it coming out of the corners, the lowest you can get it to the ground without sacrificeing shock performance the better. the elka suspended duncan bikes sit at about 9 inches from the frame at the pegs, to the ground. stock banshee hieght is about 14"s give or take 18's drop you and with your shock correct you should notice a big difference
  8. damm Walt comp hills currenty 1200 feet, those extra 20 stories makes your buddies on the ground, go from looking like rats with beers in their hands to ants, lol......you guys are in for a treat thats for sure....

  11. awwww shit ya got me Mike, you know me the consumate asshole.....
  12. i think you should keep the 280's run your needles in the center position and drop the pilots, providing your running a filter with no lid on the box, should run good from there do a plug chop, PC's arnt fuel/air whores like a Toomey or FMF, the only real way to tell is from a plug reading, i know the stock carbs wanna see a stock pilot with pc's, start by just feeling it out, it should pull through the rpm range with no flat spots where it hesitates or "Bogs" it could rev fine, and then die with a load on it, riding it and reading the plugs is your answer........yes unplug the box under your tank.........
  13. go with the plate the key sucks.......goddammit smokin i get a boner every time i see that black and red bansh, thats a sweet ass combo......
  14. better cut your swing arm and gear up a tooth, yer buddy's got a quick thumper but you could beat him......stranger things have happened

  16. Boonie i hear that man i been reading your post's for over a year, and you can get to know a dude by what he types, man all it takes is nuts, when i was young i came up with the balls to do what i wanted, 20 years later i can sell my biz on ebay for 25 mil tonight, i have a ramp i built, that i can move, if its ten feet back from the landing ramp, everyone hits it, when i scoot it back 90 feet im the only one with the nuts to pinn it and go for it, granted a few times ive had to bail, but shit im sitting here typing this to you so.....my point is your nuts directly control your income, when you work for someone your governed by there rules, go on out and make a mark dude, you have that shit in you, just shine it up and pinn that fucker, you'll be suprised where you land....and come out anytime we will have some fun.......jim
  17. as long as it's not there service i can fix it in house and have back up power in place, thats why my tech makes 150g's a year and worth every penny, the laws in cali are outragous thats why most of the biz is leaving the state, my brothers construction co. has to have employee's and gets eatin alive with the bullshit, in my case i can get away with self employed help but still have staff on the clock, like i said i feel for you guys it just plain sucks sometimes overtime is a good chunk of your pay, i myself would quit at that point but thats easer said than done, if i had to work 60 hours for 40 hours pay id call that a demotion and accidently run my trash truck into a million dollar home, because your boss doesnt have to f*ck you it's a choice he's making if i understand it right?.....if it was me id still find a way to make my staff happy, since i do offer a service if i have an asshole mixing a clients record i'll loose the client and that most times =a million dollar purchase order for me, throwing my over worked engineer an extra 10'g's is damm near the least i can do, since with out him i have no biz, and i cant do it alone so greed on my part wouldnt pan out.........it takes every bit of that juice to keep this bitch up 24/7
  18. thats a real nice jesture....have you looked at the scotts....it's 475.00 bucks, a big spend for your brother......im getting my brother a dildo for christmas so he can go f*ck himself
  19. i sure feel for all of ya, for every dollar i pay an employee i cough up 33cents for work comp, i have some guys that pull 16 hour shifts back to back for weeks on end, i tend to use sandstars method, i sit my guys down tell them what i need from them and ask them what they need to make for there services, we agrree on a price, i start writting checks and handing out 1099's i insit the guy has a dba so if he frys himself on the 700amps running through my studio he's on his own, my blanket policy will cover him just like if i had called a plumber to fix the shitter, so i cant get sued, he can pay the 600 a month for health care for him and his 10 kids, he has no paid anything, ive yet to hear any bitching from my employee's he's just outside labor, but now he's self employed so no unemployment, no ssi, no nothin.....i can fire him on the spot, he cant go to the labor board barking i fucked him, and i can write his ass off 100 percent, i get fuckin reamed having hourly employee's...........
  20. i have a 1/4 turn twist on my mx shee and a thumb on my desert shee....both have there place..if i had to pick id go with the twist.....
  21. it's for sure way over priced.........as is all trinity's stuff.....so in my opinion no it's not worth the full 799.00 offer them 300.00 for it.....or just get the stickers that come with it and save 798.00 and buy something decent...
  22. what he said..follow the pattern on your stock head if ya have it still, the centers are 1-4, then just cross long points ...id post ya a pic but our new and improved web site doesnt support it
  23. if your buying yamy lube by the quart pour half the bottle(theres a clear indicator on the side, 16oz) into 5 gallons of premium fuel (shake, fill) and go ride, when thats gone pour the other half into another 5 galllons and go ride again, repeat these steps as often as you can.......
  24. run straight anti freeze over water, or mix like ben said but straight water is a no no.....it rusts, evaporates and is all around not a good idea
