  1. Bronco 91' im seeing your point of view...Why stop selling the best sports selling atv around? First of all they will not see my business again if they go off the production line.... Second w/ enought help they could stop them from leaving.
  2. I will start it.... I think if the banshee goes Yamahas business will shoot down like a rocket. I would never buy another yamaha product again if they stopped making the best quad alive. I think it would be crazy to stop selling the top fastest best dragracing quad alive. Michael Hammons, Banshee hq member
  3. Here by members, as a sad story begans we (several) have heard about the shutdown production line of the best quad alive, the shee. We ask you as riders and shee lovers to keep it alive. There has been news going around from shops and other boards that the production of 2-strokes including banshees will end in 2006. Here everyone that is a true member or guest that has got the great expeirence to ride a shee or has one or even if you have heard the great things about it leave your comment on why you think they should not stop the production of these 2-strokes. Thanks all help greatly appr. Suourisly replies only......

  10. What are the main things I need to replace that will mess up for mx? axel and what is some more

  12. 350cc Pro Moto-cross Engine Kit: The following listed set-up is a guideline of what Patriot Racing would recommend using for a Banshee MX set-up. Pipes: Patriot Racing recommends Paul Turner mid range pipes for our MX motors. The Paul Turner pipes with our set-up has excellent low end power- a very strong midrange, but a smooth hit onto the pipe- providing for greater control and power tractability. Carbs: 28mm Keihin PWKs. Easy and precise to tune, these carbs are ideal. By keeping the carb diameter smaller, the intake velocity and fuel atomization is much greater. Reed cages: We've found that V-Force reed cages with the Pro Design V-Force compatible intakes with the built in boost bottle works superbly for our MX set-up. The W style V-Force reed cage has smaller inlet passages which in turn creates for greater intake velocity. This intake velocity is crucial to good throttle response and sub peak power. Cylinder head: Aftermarket billet head with compression ratio to suit octane level. A wide squish band to provide for good low end torque. The stock cylinder head can be modified as well- the head is decked and the squish band is re-cut. Ignition timing: At a minimum the stock stator mounting plate must be modified to provide for at least 4 degrees of timing advance. The ability of the motor after cylinder porting alterations and the pipes fitted allow for a greater peak RPM- this higher peak does not suit the stock timing curve. We recommend 4 degrees advance for pump gas motors and 6 degrees for race fuel motors. Cylinder porting alterations: A MX engine is probably the most difficult to do correctly and net the desired results. A MX engine needs smooth tractable power, it also often requires good straight-line speed. Port velocity is essential in a good MX set-up. A fine balance must be struck between porting alterations that provide good power- but meanwhile retain good velocity for throttle response and crisp power. We spend a tremendous amount of time in correcting the transfer port angles and flow which then nets a consider boost of mid range power. The intake is reshaped- but not enlarged- to retain good velocity and fuel atomization. The exhaust port duration is crucial in ensuring the motor is able to pull sufficient RPM, but not too high that it creates a shorter power stroke and sub peak power falls off. Package Pricing 1,795.00 Cylinder porting alterations- -Modify and reshape intake and boost port -Modify and reshape exhaust -Modify and reshape transfers -Polish exhaust -Modify sleeve -Modify piston where applicable -Clean casting flaws and contour within transfer updrafts 28mm Flat slide carb kit with cables: V-Force reed cages: Crankshaft True and Welding: Billet timing plate: Wiseco Piston kit w/ bearings: Cylinder boring: Aftermarket billet head with domes and o-ring kit: Gasket and seal kit: Is it worth the money? It says modify and reshape exhaust does that mean it comes w/ an exhaust of your pick?
  13. When I decide to go get my banshee modified and set up for mx who is the best place to let set it up? I want it done by smart people that know what their doing. I thought about monster garage lol....
