the 34's give his port the fuel it needs to accelerate like it does, i gained so much low end......i was looking for that lift, your riding in sand im talking about the fucker running like my CR-500 on a MX track, if your nose dives into every rut and bump you not only get the living shit kicked out of you, you go slow, when i gas this bitch it lifts right up after that it's your suspension, my elkas soak it up, i can lean back pinn it in third and stand a 45 degree wheelie for 40 feet just like my 2 wheeler, the -2 just allows me to hook and the geomitry is closer to what it should be for track riding, stocks great for open riding and of course extend it for dunes or pavment jim knew i wanted nothing but low end 10,000 rpm does me no good.... from idle to 8 g's im just a fuckin ghost, the 34's pour fuel into this bitch and it burns it and goes, fuckin jim even ball parked my jetting, my plug chops look great, a buddy with a mission stroker rode it and came back smiling ear to ear, said it would flat out smoke his bike.......when i go to dumont for the HQ party ill run a +2 extension so i can manage it in the dunes, or maybe ill just take Stan and go explore the open desert, or just leave it on my truck and drink beer all day.....you should come out Justin its gonna be fun......

Lead i have pictures i could send you id prefer jim did though i just didnt want to post them and have someone copy his port work.......he welds more mass to your intakes then bores those most guys just drill the transfers out ..... jims is really trick if you look close at the pics of my jugs you can see it......this weekend ill take some real close up pics and put them in that imagestation library because i still havnt figured out our new forum for pics .....but if you PM Jim he will send them to you also

he is willing to help us out Lefty and i think that matters alot, im not a 2 cycle guru but have been riding since 1965 and jim gave me what i wanted not what he wanted to build or some generic motor that everyone has, im real happy with it and like david at Noss his biz will do good, the same practices these guys have, has kept me in business for 22 years and thats what i was looking for great comunication, great service and great results not alot of engine builders have that as we have both seen with the horror stories weve read......

I adjust mine by the seat of the pants. Too stiff, and my kidneys ache to the point I can't breathe. Too soft and I get motion sick. It would be great to actually adjust them to performance rather than if I'm not gonna be able to piss or if I'm gonna throw up. LMFAO...........that was great Stan.......

you want to turn it till when you sit on the bike the ass end still drops a couple inches, get it to ride nice and soak up the terrain if you try to make it just not bottom by cranking the preload so stiff it barely moves the bike will ride like shit and still bottom out.......if its not blown up start with your rebound at half way and your compression backed all the way out then adjust to the terrain your in......

Tit we are all just razing ya, and beleave me on a quad wound up tight at even 80mph feels like 120.......but as we all have said it takes real tall gears to achive those speeds and then lots of horse power to pull them.....if you put a 18 up front and a 32 on the rear you could go 120, but with your motor every time you shifted to 4th it would fall off then youd have to slam it back into third wind it back up and that cycle would go on and on, youd never see 6th gear.....and you mentioned NYUK draggin and only going 111mph you do realize thats in a quarter mile, if he took it out on the interstate and wound it up A: he'd kill himself and B: go well over 120mph and C: be the craziest fucker ive ever talked to.....

Duece, didn't I tell you that you may need to gear up on that 12 port for better top-end?...Jim well what i did was put my 40 tooth renthal on the front and my 15 tooth counter on the back.....i had to modify my case a bit but, hey what the hell, i got clocked at 76mph in first gear, but what im wondering is how come i cant climb hills? i tried to ride up my driveway and couldnt......Jim you said my bike would have "Tons of Bottom" i would think 80hp would get the fucker up the driveway, wouldnt you?........

your bike has reverse too!!! your the second guy to tell me that....does your electric starter still work? i took mine off to shave some weight and had a guy modify it for a kick starter....

i just took my bike out and wound it out in 6th...it does 168 mph

im with dragg..if you had to open your 26's up to there max to feed the intakes id say go with larger carbs other wise youd end up choking a 34 down and what would the point of that be..i run 34's but my port will support the fuel....and you really have to know porting to get it to swallow that much fuel chances are your running a mild port or it wouldnt run good with 26's

you should have 5/8's of slack with the shock bottomed, let me ask a dumb question is the chain running over the chain roller or under it if it's on top of the roller it would tighten like a son of bitch with weight on the bike, it should go under it, and a inch and a half of slack is way to sloppy

oh ok but only if you chrome the frame on my new dragster first, but you really should run the stock pipes they were designed around this monster, thats a secret not to many know about.....

well make sure you wear clean skivies, that kilt catches wind, all the fella's are gonna see your fanny, and in that kilt im afraid your going to attract all the sissy's......oh were goin chrome now too, isnt that aslo good for another ten ponies?.........and why chrome why not powder coat it pink to match your new riding attire, just dont forget to throw your evening bag over your shoulder and ill trade you a stock banshee for your dragster if you pay all shipping and throw in your old set of leathers.......

i think the reason the 450 is beating the shee is its not set up right, i dont have any problem dusting the 450, unless the guy on the 450 has tons of mods and is a equil rider.....
