  1. mine are the heavy elka covers i do like evil toss them in with my jerseys and leathers and bingo, clean as a whistle, not a rip or tear in them and seam to hold up to the washer decent, outerwares too, gloves, helmet linings, nothing a little "Tide" wont take care of......
  2. LOL What I meant was, am I gonna get lost, as in are there 10 camp grounds, or 1? I usually don't end up lost though. Once I've been somewhere its easy for me to remember. BUT if you're gonna throw up signs, not a problem. LMMFAO!!! Yeah, bring some pom poms, and a big pink megaphone to cheer me on as I fly up that thing. Sadly, I have no front tires for open desert. I will have sand tires only for now. Fuckk stan thats all ya had to say......ill bring a set of stockers on stock rims, full of air w/some metric sockets and you wont get lost youll be driving down a dirt road looking at massive dunes, dumonts small, hell youll hear everyone riding ya cant miss it......
  3. a blaster and banshee axle are interchanable it bolts right on, and we all know if you just flip the stock rear rims since they are offset the bike gets an inch wider, thats a cool trick to flip the hub, how much shorter does that make it? and id agree the less width the less twitch at high speed......
  4. http://www.imagestation.com/mypictures/inb....&id=4200816771 the scotts stabilizer.....
  5. are they chrome...how much?
  6. bring it inside jose that salt air in diego aint good for her, leave your gas on floats full so the bowl seals dont dry and crack on ya and find the time to start her up a couple times a week

  8. Walt, ill go right on up that big sonofabitch, i do it all the time, but Stans my friend and i think i need to stand by him in his time of need, so he and i will tour the kiddie dunes and drink beer and Q up some beef while you all go play, but when we all go hit the open desert, f*ck Stan he's on his own, thats my kinda riding and i know some sweet spots out there.........
  9. hey bs police, you seem to know your shit can you explain why psi yeilds power over a politicly correct combustion chamber?.....and in our last debate on this subject RKT mentioned that a correct combustion chamber would yeild more power than a ported motor, whats your spin on that, i find that statement incorrect but, ive only been riding 37 years so im kinda new to this mod your motor for power thing over correct combustion......thanks for your input......
  10. yeah i do im gonna take some fresh ones and post them with a review of passion's motor, i just have to get this image station thing goin so i can post pics, there site is not geared for my mac but i just ordered a program that will let me run a windows OS on my mac.....
  11. start with just changing the main, should come with the pipe, leave your needles and pilots alone, do a plug chop on fresh plugs not the ones youve turned black with your stock pipes, and at least take your airbox lid off
  12. the guy who gets the jump is the winner, the better rider will win, his fat ass might help him hook ya never know........
  13. id have to say Yes Sir it does, depending on gearing of course
  14. that makes sense, would there be some sort of cut off point where the dome yeilding the greater psi just wins out over the custom dome?...and couldnt there only be one correct custom dome size, like i stated before if its designed behind your chamber and ends up being 100 psi, then i toss a dome that gets me 140psi it would have less power? can you make a custom dome yeild any psi you like? if so wouldnt that be the same as a generic dome?.....and bottom line is most guys just wanna bolt that head on and feel more power, i could see a guy who normally runs 180 psi go to a custom with 120psi start getting smoked and feel a hugh power loss, and when his buddies raze him he simply states "Your bike may smoke mine now, but i have custom domes, and your just running those shitty generic jobbies, so neneer, neneer"
  15. i agrre with boon they paid for that...a good friend of mine(Jacey) works at action motorsports here in hesperia but worked at mission with ted for 6 years, ted is like your trinity port kinda mild, if your after some over the top kick ass motor work hit up jim at passion, jacey looks at my port work and just goes shit thats insanity and he's seen teds best work hell he's done most of it
  16. I am a newbie and i understand where you guys are coming from. I come here to learn, I am new at this banshee stuff this is my first one. It pisses me off seeing all the bull shit also. I think that 5 messages a day is more that enough. I know that you can lie about it but what about an age limit? I have only been on here for a very short time and I have learned alot ahole lot met new and good people and ass hole like these kids are going to mess it up for us good new fooks just trying to learn and make new friends. For all of you that have helped me...........Thanks Rick Now Rick is the kinda guy we all enjoy helping and thats what this sites about, i would think someone would have to sit and think about the stupid shit there posting asking someone how to turn a corner on your bike and in the next post shoot for the theory behind a two cycle motor is only a prankster, and attention whore........
  17. i just run 100% race fuel, solves that problem we somehow shifted to the race fuel over pump vs psi topic, i want to know how all things being the same except one motor has 40 more psi than the other how the lower psi motor yeilds more power? since i can feel the power in the seat of the pants, am i just high or what, being a moron on the subject can someone answer this, "is the power i feel, not really real"
  18. it's a big'un Justin get ready for a nosebleed, but they have some kiddy dunes too, thats where you'll find me and stan.....
  19. i could meet you half way Stanly and hold your hand, point you to the dune maybe help you clean the shit out of your drawes when you climb that bad fucker, im here for you man....

  22. i have a set with the spark arrestor also and a set with the silencer, the sparky is about a half inch bigger around and sounds meaner...... Did you notice any difference in the powerband hit between those two pipes Deuce?? yeah banch i do the stingers seem to have just a pinch more bottom whereas the sparky doesnt and the stinger has more of like a zip sound to them, the sparky seems to have a deaper bark and is louder, the stingers back presure might account for a pinch more bottom?.....
  23. i agree we dont have to read the stupid posts, but now if i do a search on reeds ill have to thumb through, "whats a reed" "wheres the reed go" "bansheegirl reeds to me at night" and so on.....and i understand you dont want to just start canning members posts, but i think by not doing anything the HQ is open up to be a hangout for kiddies to play, just what we are seeing now, little girls haveing the ten morons chasing her sign up and such shit, almost like an aol chat room entilted "Banshee Room"
  24. id skip the rezzie and go with a better valved body for your budget, some dampning adjustments will help you out lots more than trying to cool a poor shock and the only problem with triples is finding one in a short body, if you had gullwing aarms you be open to all kinds of good triples, its just hard to stuff that much spring in that short a body and have it work worth a shit allthough in theory a triple is softer on top and firmer on the bottom than a double but since getting a triple in the shorter body doesnt work well most guys use doubles i wouldnt buy a shock based on its bottom, id look at the ride at the top of the shock, since thats where you'll be most of the time all shocks bottom if they didnt the top of the ride would be utter shit and it would just shutter down the track, the less expensive elkas are a great shock as TXblueshee stated, if you took those from him and replaced them with the best works shock he wouldnt be impressed, spring gage is everything in my opinion and a good body allows you to control the rate of travel of the spring and then keeping them cool depends on the activity the body is taking, it's almost 2k for a full set of elka ssd's but man if your thing is to haul ass consistantly (with other guys hopfully chasing you instead of you them) your suspension choice at that point is more important than your pipe choice........
  25. yeah i got it mike thankyou........damm thats sure pretty for a stocker, Matt sure did a nice job for me........
