Stan are you sure its the arm and not the upper shock mount? or the frame at the arm mount? you could probally align it out and make it ride ok, ive bent knuckles and been able to align it out..if it is the arm i opt for trying to tweak it back, off the bike of course....thats what i dont like about lonestar type fat arms and axles they are the last thing to bend most times......

i trade off with a buddy who has a 450, his bike is nice once he dumps some more cash into it will be a real contender, but right now i can smoke him, that 450 is no peice of shit, but requires a great deal of motor mods to be able to hang with the beefed shee's he could easly smoke a piped shee on the track, but a fast shee with great suspension and chassis mods will beat him..once you have 30 ponies on him and can hook, he cant hang....

i havnt dynoed it........it's roughly 75-85hp depending on your pipe, reeds and carb setup----i would hope it would smoke a 270-----the best part of it is you can feel 30 horses right off idle...........

heres my opnion Chuck, i think you should back your compression all the way out, put your rebound in the center, adjust your preload by turning the nut on top of your spring until when you sit on the bike it drops a few inches at least, thats the sag, then adjust the compression and rebound based on the terrain your riding in, rebound controls how fast the shock rises and compression controls how fast it goes down, compression will help a shock not bottom, but if youve cranked the compression trying to make up for a weak spring, your ride will suffer, and cranking the preload only effects the top of the shocks travel not the bottom, sag and compression will greatly effect your traction, if say you were on the track you would want your shock to bottom on the hardest hit, accelration and position helps wonders in jumping, if you lob your bike off jumps its going to land hard, guys have done 90 footers on stock suspension, position means everything, the shock bottoming on a hard hit is not as important as how it works the other 99% of the time......just my 2 cents

wow thats intresting mike, like i said i never noticed a power loss in stock bikes, but the stuff we have to run at the pump in cali has MTBE......i get my 120 in 5 gallon drums ill take a pic where it says "unleaded 120 octane atv/motorcycle use only" and get the brand name, does it burn cleaner? i know a plug chop on race over pump looks like night and day.....

all the stuff here in cali is unleaded you needed a additive if you have an ol car and need leaded.....ive never noticed a loss of power with 110 which is actually 108, we used to get 98 at the pump.....thats intresting though
