  1. yeah but if you tell someone its a done deal....its kinda chicken shit to back out of it, only an impulse buyer does that shit, then realizises he needs lunch money all week and cant swing it.....thats why i throw all my used crap in the trash..... its much easyer than trying to hawk it to some moron that thinks he's my custumer cause im trying to give him something that would cost him 500 bucks for five dollars, and cost me 50 bucks of my time to mail his dumb ass.....
  2. i use 118 octane fuel with 927, and mine runs great, boots right up, i notice how tight it is when its revving down, his crank, and piston combo are fairly standard for our engines but hold up real well, lots more reliable than the sloppy stock stuff, id say his engine will out last a stock motor any day
  3. barnetts are nice....... use three stock springs, if you ride trails or tight stuff.....there hard to pull.....
  4. hehehe if he ran from the man out here in the desert they'd catch him and beat his ass to a pulp......and id ride by on the street and wave hi to my neighbor the sherriff, as he beat this kids ass, if he couldnt snag him his copters certainly would, then he'd really take a ass kicking for making them waste fuel on his ass, i saw a guy on a CR run from the cops and when they caught him the sherrif ran over his bike with his 4x4, theres no donut shops where i ride, this kid would no way out run the man, way badder fuckers have tried........they know the desert like the back of their hands, and there mounted on some fast ass 2 wheelers with radios
  5. shit can all of it...... those new tops are for your twist to go straight into the carbs and pull the slides up and down, if you dont understand it, take it to a shop, under a 100 bucks someone will install it for you, they will aslo tap your carbs for an idle adjustment.....
  6. that 450 is fast dude.......
  7. i think it will last nicely i pound mine hard and im at 180 psi in both jugs at 100 hours, the day i got my motor i was at 180 psi both jugs, so things are looking good......
  8. every so often when my ass looks fat in my leathers ill go this route......
  9. thats what i been trying to relate in my posts about jims motor its hard to explain unless youve felt it, its like you can feel 30 ponies kick in off idle and start climbing from there, whereas the stock piped feel is 30 horse and climbing after youve feathered the clutch at 7000rpm
  10. awww jesus i just pissed myself
  11. thats how i feel to Jeffro, ive yet to have my ass handed to me in a sprint, but where it counts on the tight, ruff stuff my bansh does excatly what i wanted it to do, have you tried climbing anything steep yet?, it feels like your on a 4 stroke, great torque...
  12. damm moose, sounds like her last boyfriend made just a pinch more cash than you buddy, unless your packin a good size chunk of dick, this might go quick.....keep us updated in "all my HQer's" the internet "soap"
  13. that would be intresting NAX, i think personally youd starve jims port with a single carb, in my opinion all that trinity 2 into 1..1 into 2..3x4=12 crap......is just advertising bullshit, each cylinder should have its own carb, pouring in as much fuel as the jug can handle, down its throat......companies like honda and of course yamaha have rarely produced multiple cylinder motors with single carbs, jims reading this thread lets see what he thinks, im by far not a motor guru, but ive been riding dirt bikes about 37 years and have yet to see a twin with a single carb smoke a well tuned twin with dual carbs, sometimes you'll see a bansh with a single carb get some fair bottom, but who gives a shit if all you have to do is feather your clutch to get it in the power band and pass the guy..lets see what jim thinks.....and i think low gears on a stroker are useless, if you had a 500 horse motor geared the same as a 50 horse motor all youd really have is a motor than can get to the same top end sooner, i learned that my first ride on jims engine, i started out geared 15/41 with my stroker and instantly geared it up taller, that much power with low gearing is actually slower in the dirt than a lower horsepowered shee, cause the vicious power of the stroker just spinns and is basicly out of control, it takes taller gearing to get those ponies to the ground, and the taller gears providing the motor can pull them accelerate twice as hard and fast, anyone running a high horse powered shee will tell you that.......
  14. awww jesus they sure do.....talk about the goods, there aint a nine in the place..10+++ all the way
  15. closer to a 100 plus TX.....although out on the desert tracks i cant even hit the top of fourth, the fucker just rips, i have a scotts stabilizer, that pretty much locks my bars in place, i can pinn sixth and then let go of my bars and still go straight with no shimmy or head shake but slamming sixth with this gearing is a death wish, its just ridiculous how hard it pulls geared that tall, when i drag buddies geared 14/41 or 15/41 i can pretty much let them get around six house's on me, maybe 250 feet and real them in before they hit the stop sign 400 yards out, in the dirt its a little different cause some times your spinning the other guys hookin and vise versa, but on pavement its sick how fast this thing goes, speed shift to fourth and the front end starts climbing, its insane, im damm tempted to go with a 18, just to really have some fun.....the 17 you can grab third and stay there around most mx tracks i suppose flat track youd be doing fourth and fifth, but i cant see hitting sixth unless your on the freeway....if i ran a 15 up front my first coupla gears would be useless.....
  16. take the 15 north, get off at the main exit in baker....go left on the 127(its north, but seems west) about 30 miles to dumont road go right(dumont road is dirt).....start looking for the HQers
  17. that 17/40 breaks your arms it pulls so hard, and just doesnt stop pulling, it stretches your gears out really far with massive accelaration, reminds me of riding a fast street bike......
  18. i cant think of any kind of riding where the stroker is not better........depending on carbs and intake around 2 grand
  19. the cops by my house grew up riding and have CR450-f's youd better have a passion racing stroker if you ever wanna out run one of them guys
  20. id go 12-16 ounces of that yamaha crap to 5 gallons of fuel depending on the ratio you want
  21. the guys a moron straight up.......
  22. use dumont road....spark arrestor, flag, no glass, no speeding in camp about the same as glamis
  23. ill bet after a 12 pack she's a doll........and yer her first.....ill give ya 6 weeks
  24. i mounted my "boost bottle" on my grab bar
  25. what kinda plugs are you running......and yes you have to hold it pinned, i use 4th gear, sixth on my bikes around 100mph a little to quick to be going up my street, but anyway pinn it for at least 5 seconds, pull in the clutch and hit the kill switch, coast to a stop, pull the plugs and see if there black brown or white.....i like to read them from the bottom of the cone, some guys read the tip.........if your bikes stock but for the k&N id start with stock settings and go from there and if your carbs arnt in sync that can kinda mess with your off idle throttle response, i allways like to check the simple easy stuff first, before i rebuild my bike.....on the mains some guys pull the choke halfway at WOT, looking for a rich or lean condition, banchetta and benb know tons about jetting and the different configs and basic settings, dirt and silt can get you scratching your head to, a slight air leak at the intake, baked reeds, glogged filter..... so get rid of all those varibles and you'll get it running good
