when you torqe it start with a short ratchet or choke up un the torqe wrench by a foot, and tighten by feel till they are good and tight, if theres any uneven pressure on the head the bolt you are trying to tighten will snap, follow the pattern on your stock head maybe ten times around with a short ratchet, cause the studs and bolts are soft, if the nut your tightening takes 70 pounds to snug the head flat, it will snap, you'll see the needle on your torque wrench bend way over then level out to 20, when the needle went full to the right as you tightened it with 18 inches of leverage it snapped the lug, follow the pattern even if you go around the head 20 times, youll snug the first one and the second will feel hand tight and so on......

thats where im at..... i ride the shit outta my bike, and take care of it, the day i check my compression and im 10-20 psi off ill know its time to rebuild, then ill ride it some more, all the time knowing i wanna break it down for a top end, hardcore racers go every 4-6 races, thats way overkill if you ask me, but having a nice tight fresh topend is nice....i rebuild my shocks more than my topend.....

the best mine ever ran with the stock carbs was doing like pro curcuit says and just up the main, everything else in the stock position.....and i ran a head, reeds k&n with no lid......it ran fantastic.......

some guys say every 40 hours some say every 10 years..what you do is ride the shit outta your bansh and check your compression when you have roughly 10 psi diff between the jugs you could use at least rings but some guys just ride them and not worry about it, others rebuild often.....i have a shee that could use a top end and it still runs great......

I agree it's very bothersome not being able to see pictures. i use photoshop to size the pic under 50k and make sure its in jpeg format and have been able to do away with that imagestation nonsense....fox's first pic posted ok....

yes sir i think you will, to feed 2 carbs from one source you'll need a "TEE".....might cost ya 30cents? at a hardware store, the stock tubing might work but wont send near the fuel to the carbs, i kinda like the clear hose with the filter, just zip tie the connections or use those little baby hose clamps, if you really wanted to get tricky you could shit can the stock in tank filter and tap the whole in the reserve side of your petcock bigger by a 16th, then ride with your bike on reserve, and fuel flow will never be a issue, but then make sure you run a "inline" filter

i gave my stock banshee shock to a kid with a blaster so im sure they would fit and drop the bike also....but if you think it rode like shit with the stock banshee shocks, put the blaster ones on

To see the pic all you have to do is right click then put the url into the address thing in your browser. the only problem with that is Macs dont right click, i could boot from windows xp on my mac and go see it, but if he posted a jpeg under 50k it would show up.....everyone see's my pics?.....this whole pic posting thing is a little whacky if you ask me, its so hit and miss
