Hey rod hit up jim at passion, he's building me a +4-370 stroker should be around 80+ponies im going to attempt to race mx with it, when i get it back ill do a complete review, i have a mx track at the house and have fortunatly documented my times for most of my mods, so i will know just how much faster it is over my trinity mx ported engine....
  4. yeah Led you would mix it 50/50 in your case id go 100% race fuel why even bother mixing with the swill we get here in cali we have that MTBE crap in all our pump gas, and you have some cash in your engine, it will help with reliability also, granted it costs us 5 bucks a gallon but well worth it.....
  5. sounds like you need a good shop with a guy who knows jetting close to you, have him send your jugs out to the guy of your choice, re assemble and jett for you......

No it's free it's the national forest......it goes from the top of the pass through big bear then west to mount baldy and north, well you could ride to las vegas or even reno nevada, where youd be at is high desert, theres riding for hundreds of miles in every direction except from the south, the way you came from the city...no rangers no limits just wide open (dont start a fire as you know we all just burned up here in cali) desert......traffic willing your probally an hour and 15 minutes away.........

  8. what are you at HP wise with your port and pipe 70? id try a 13/41 see if you can grab 6th goin up, if it bogs, go down a tooth, ive seen guys with 80+hp running 12's up front i think it depends on what tires your running and your swing arm length.......

Sounds like you might have to ride it sluggish for a while.....................Banchettas right your stock carbs are best suited for stock port, if you just slap bigger carbs on your otherwise stock top end your bike will loose drasticly in throttle response and power, all youll really have is a slow fuel whore, and a jetting nightmare, to lean it out right your mains will be tiny(i have a pal who tried this he's still fuckin with it) but on the other hand listen to Jim, have him port your top end and go with his recomended carb setup for his port and ill bet you'll have a rocket........
  10. your crank needs to be trued and welded, something best left to a shop that can balance it, try going 20cc domes you will be safe at any elevation on pump fuel, wont need to true and weld your crank and i agree with Brian the Noss head will wake up your Pro Circuits, you'll notice way more bottom end, unless your going to port your bike id stop at the 20's, the Noss head will drop your bike a good 10 degree's heat wise also, if your going to split your cases to weld your crank, you might as well build the top end at that time and i dont think that youll feel the difference between 150 and 170psi like you will going from your 110 now to 150, with the 20's........ you would also have to run race fuel at 170psi....David at Noss will hook you up, he has great service you can email him with dumb ass questions and he will reply with some shit you can understand. also it will take you about an hour to install, plus Davids head looks great........

  12. take the 91 east to the 15 north come up to the top of the cajon pass (42 miles) exit at main street go right and up about 7 miles till you see lake hesperia entrance, turn right onto a dirt road right across from the entrance to the lake...go up a little and park, thats the north end of honda valley, theres about 500,000 acres of riding, hills, tracks, draqg strip, best place in socal for quads, some freestyle 100 footers, even a bar out in the middle of nowhere, their beers cold and have free hot dogs on sunday.....youll see a nice groomed mx track, look up at the house above it, thats my pad, ill see ya out there.....but if you want to stay on the 15 for another 40 miles to highway 58, you'll be at Dumont Dunes

  15. you might have to fan the clutch a bit for a second start after she starts rolling, id stretch 4th as far as it will go before it starts to float same with 5th, maybe try a 15 tooth sprocket up front, but with it stock youd have to fan the clutch even more with a 15, if you want to hook up start by a shorter swing arm, then maybe you can get the jump off the line for dirt dragging with your pals.....
  16. yeah it does, its a shame you dont have a compression reading with the top end fresh, but if you say you have 143psi in both barrels, it could be a fresh top end, if you had 10 psi difference in the 2 jugs, youd know it's time to freshen her up, those charts you see on dome size and compression at the different altitudes pertains to stock bore and port, Dan would be the guy to ask, but im with Jethro that does sound about right and at 500 feet above sea level, your going to have to go with a smaller dome for more compression, i would still consult with Dan, he knows his work, you also wanna find out if the cranks been welded and balanced on your new bike, maybe those domes are there cause the cranks stock? i know if you just up your compression by 50psi youd send that stock crank to the moon.....

Welcome to the HQ Shee10, i also race Mx on my banshee, in my opinion id get chassis and suspension first, since your bike is plenty fast for a track stock, pick a nice 2+1 or 2+2 a-arm for around 475.00 some good front shocks, for around 550.00, shorten your swing arm for 100.00 bucks, add a Noss head w/20cc domes(240.00), a ported reed cage(umm 100.00) or delta 2 reed block (240.00) a good lowend pipe, open up your air box and rejet your carbs.....

  19. ive havnt looked, did this little f*ck really relist bens FAQ?......ill chase this cocksucker around ebay all fuckin day, i work with publishing companies all the time im going to find out what the law is, ebay might over look it, and im sure a music orgainization wont touch it but like Rod said theres copywrite laws that do cover printed matter, im working on a chassis/suspension FAQ like bens jetting tutorial, if some prick jacks it and tries to make cash from it, i will pay to track him down and make his broke ass, wish he hadnt, and i still think if you were to buy this punks CD youd find a bonus banshee calender of all bens pics as well, Benny spent alot of his time making that jetting guide for us we should all show our apriciation and try and stop this theif from profiting off bens hard work......
  20. but.....the banshee is the only one of those bikes that can sustain a wheelie 2 feet off the ground for any distance, and probally the only one that can do it in 4th gear.........
  21. jims a great guy, straight shooter, will give you what you want not what he wants you to have, anwers his phone,will do the work when he says and yes his motors do haul ass, and wouldnt dare f*ck a HQ member, theres 10,000 prospective clients for him here, when my motor comes back from jim ill post a ride review, he has a great port design, and like with anyone in his profession has his own trade secrets that make him who he is, his work is over the top as far as port work goes, and youd be safe sending him your motor or just jugs, if your going for a mild port anyone can do that for you, and you could probally find that in your area......

Eehsnab2, your elevation matters alot when you start going 18 and lower on your domes, how about a welded crank, Noss head with 18's and 100% race fuel and if you do port it you'll still be cool, advance the timing if you like, the 100% race fuel will keep you safe, go to Noss.com and read the compression elevation chart.................. David it's my pleasure guy, i think your product speaks for itself, and i cant thank you enough for the hookup on jim at passion racing, and the nice cool domes, and jim tells me i now have one of your reed spacers as well, did that get me another Noss sticker?lol.......thanks David......jim
