  1. you can get a programmable dyna box with +4 timing or shit more depends on what you want. i would get at the box before the plate cause you have to put the plate at 0 with the box
  2. also the other side the screws were loose so the other side probably was about to do it. my advice to you all is check your v force reed and tighten the screws up
  3. good combo depends on what you are going to ride, trails i take it with a 2-1 carb and intake and a 2-1 pipe. should have a lot of low end. you should hit up bdbanshee and get a lightened flywheel also. it will really help in the trails. me personnal i would have that setup for crap, the 2-1 pipe signs off way to early for my riding. with 19 domes and 104 octane you should be good to go. im at 900 ft with 20 and run 100LL with 180 psi

  5. i tried that also what i found out was delete the one you dont want close the whole hq.com window then open a new window, go to hq.com then try reloading the one you want
  6. i run the toomey hose thing. on my bike i havent noticed any lose on the bottom but when it hits its a hell of a ride compared the rockets

  8. +4 degrees depends on what cc of domes you run you need to watch you octane in your gas.
  9. motor yesterday started reving to the moon, then just died. thought it was the carbs, clean them still wouldnt run. with the filters off i could some what keep it running. the left carb was forcing air out the back side of the carb, the wrong way. pulled the reeds and intake off, found this, the one was laying in the bottom of the intake. anyone else had this problem??
  10. well thats not good. drain your gas tank, and clean your carbs up really well. go to a part store adn get you a in line fuel filter. damn good insurance against your motor going to hell cause of crap in the gas
  11. you can ask a bunch of somewhat stupid ? but its easier for you to just ask the source of your ?. i you want someones motor then ask them roughly some of the ? if you have other problems, then ask hq.com 10-4 we all asked some wierd ones, just dont make a habit of a shit load cause then you will get flamed bad

  13. jim has software that roughly tell him what the motor specs will make. he will give a pretty close estimate. it varies with the pipes from one to the other. just ask him. he is a nice guy and will answer your ?
  14. im taking it your using stock carbs. first you need to pull both off and clean them out. spray carb cleaner down the mains( brass hex thing on the bottom) and all over. lift the slides up also and clean them. next you need to find out what pilot, what needle, what clip its on, what main the bike has. this it beyond important to deal with. with the needle sharp end pointed down, the top clip is the 5th and does downward to the first. location, elevation is also needed does your bike start with out the choke after sitting a day or so, if it does your pilot is too big. that could cause your bogging plus your needle clip thousand variables my guess would be. stock 25 pilot, if you have stock needle 4th clip, 300 mains depending on where your elevation is

  24. pull the tops off your carbs, spray some carb cleaner in the bores. then take some scotch brite pad and run it thru the bore and then on the slides. really get the bottom edge there are casting scratches on it and it catches on the bore sides. when you get it some what smooth. spray carb cleaner on everything to clean up any thing else. put back to gether and it should be almost perfect
  25. dek needle 5 clip, 140 main 900 ft ks, about 80 degs out now 55 pilots should work pretty good
