i tightened the first nut up very tight so there was no play and you could turn the axle ok. if you too tight i think it will push the rotor against the pads and cause brake drag. and then locitite is applied and then the sec nut and tighten the bejesus out of it.

well both pipes arent very quiet. i know odean bought some silencers from cascade innovations to quiet his shearers down. who knows almost all after markets are a lot louder some t5 with that gay ass hush kit might work.

i would suggest for mid to top cpi or shearers. jim at passions can get you some shearers at a good price. passionre on here or you can get those cpi. shearers are a bit cheaper also.

if you had a plugged cat convertor it would be getting super hot glowing red and your motor would run like total ass. not removing the exhaust. you will have to talk to a shop about that code, could be your smog pump or some emissions stuff. on those new vehicles that put a lot of stuff on that could go bad.

try 4th clip and 340 and chop the plug it depends on your elevation and stuff most likely. 300 seems a bit lean for worked over shee.

i would start with 55 pilots and 155 mains, depends on what needle those carbs have. also what elevation, porting, etc

also you can take scrotch brite or emery paper and on the slide there are small casting flaws you can clean them up and it will help it slide down.

pods are lighter and easier to work on them and your motor compared to box. if your going thru a shit load of water i would say stay with the box. otherwise pods are nice.
