  4. i have a 15 liter cummins motor siting outside my house and the turbo isnt that big. but i guess. those imports are making shit loads of power. but i think they have tranny problems. hard to make a tranny handle 1200 hp my guess. would love to see it down the strip.
  5. try a 27.5 pilot. 30 are pretty big for a stock carb. and then try the 3rd and 4th clip

  7. what kind of oil?? if you never got off the pipe you were in the powerband. a cub would be a good mid to top motor. if you want to get your motor going why dont you just ship it to jim and let him put it together and check shit out for you. easy way to solve any putting it together problems. but i think buds kinda right. ifyou bearly ran it. it didnt break in correctly to scratch the jugs up that much. or some awful oil was used.

  9. sometimes a place willl tell you stuff that might be correct but it doesnt work the same for everyone. each bike is different and a stock port bike really doesnt need big carbs.
  10. sounds awfully rich to me for a stock bike. first off you have big carbs, almost to big on a unported motor. but to get it to run try like a 48 pilot give or take , cgk needle 3rd and 152 mains. will have to do some plug chops i can get you some stock carbs pretty decent if you want them. need a cable but still would be better than those 34s untill you open that bitch up.
  11. on keihin the circuit all over lap each other. so big pilots feed into the mid, and to the mains. but your pilots are small. if you raised the needle it would put more fuel in yes. and it could throw your main off. i would say put a the needle on teh 4th and say 150 main and take it out for a ride. put it in like 4th gear, and slowly open the throttle adn see how it acts. if it bogs out say 1/2 throttle it might be rich in the needle. butif it runs open it up and see how it acts on top and do a plug chop. its a lot of playing with shit and change stuff. it might like more fuel, 5th clip might not. who ported the juggs.
  12. he said he was running pwk 35s. read his first post 138 mains are beyond small at sea level. you need to find out what pilot you have, what needle, what clip its on. the needle has letters on the side. all that shit is needed before someone can throw info out for you. so dont expect answers till you give more info. but i wouldnt run it too long with that small of a main. 150ish you should be at most likely with the right setup.

  14. measure the tangs. and remove just a bit around 1/8 of inch. i didnt have to go clear to the threads.

  16. grind the edge of the springs. but do it very lightly dont just mash it into a grinder. might take a while but it will weaken them and be a lot softer. sometimes you can cut a coil or 2. depends on teh carbs.

  18. measure the back of your carbs and the front of your air box get a measurement. go to a hardware store adn tell them you want a rubber flange to connet to pipes with hose clamps that are close to the measurements you measured. it will probably move your box back or you could cut the flanges some. best of luck.
  19. yep learned that shit out the hard way also you can take a air sander or cut off wheel and remove like 1/8 inch off those tangs. it will give you enough clearance for the plate to move out. dont understand why their wasnt any instructions on this. learned on my own and reading on ps. then might spray your clutch with carb cleaner to get he shavings out and reput some oil in and try it out. good clutch system, just wish they would say st uff about that plate hitting the cover.

  22. why wont they work in a lock up cause they stand out more?? i know you have to grind the stock tab in the stock clutch cover or they will grind into your plate. about 1/8 off them. hmm sounds like a pain.
  23. stock pilot, 4th clip, 330 mains to start. might need a 27.5 and the mains will have to be adjusted.
  24. and why were you nailing her with out it then. di dyou were a rubber. if you didnt i will laugh at you. nothing personall but its your own fault. it blows my mind that people dont understand how people get pregnant. insert a into b and for a bit of fun then matter c is released. chemical, protective coverings, and the ol withdrawl out of b helps. the combination of all is a good way to start or at least 2 of the 3. wow anyways.
