cubs compared to stock cylinders seem to run way different jetting. smaller pilots but bigger mains seems to the cub do anyways.

i think boss makes a new intake for 39s its a 2 piece. whiteknuckle makes one also.

now my ? if you get a shaw like 12 /12.5 with like 1300psi to ran as a no link but the swinger is a reg setup, do you think it will work. ive read about the angle of the shock but would it work ok. i know i got a shaw 14 long i told them i wanted it setup to go as a no link. they didnt listen or have a clue. its way too long, i didnt measure it at the time the swinger so i couldnt give a better measurement. i think it will work in the dog bone. but i was t rying to make it easier for longer swingers. bolt on and go type of stuff.

i was told you dont want to run a link swinger as a no link with a shaw, something about the angle of the shock is too much or something. if your doing that i think 12, 12.5 would be about right with a lot of psi. i was trying to do this and was told i needed this setup, well its too long and not enought psi. let me know what you come up with .

rough guess with the lack of info you provided. those 42 pilots, cek/cel needle mid, and 148 mains and start doing some plug chops. 168 if fat for that elevation, 150-158 at 1000 ft is what many run around here. find out what needle you have.

for some reason cubs dont like fuel down low and mid as much as others. mains thats another story. i would try some 50 pilots, cel or dek mid clip, and 150 mains would be a good start. depending on your elevation. if you pack the air screw out 3 turns and still no idle the pilot is too big. also need to sync your carbs verywell. there are tools for that. just read your at 2500 ft. you might need some 48 pilots or 45s.

i would say try curve 3 and see how it runs. curve 4 might be to much with your compression. depends on compression and fuel.

depends on what rod you plan to use. 6011/6010 would be too much pentration. 6013 could work just drag it quick. 7018 possibly. i would say a mig would be a lot easier. its going to be thin metal anyways.

you can get a easy pull clutch lever it helps a shit load. rmatv sells them. the 3 stock springs 3 stiff ones are better than 6 stiff ones but the lever helps a bunch.
