  1. Man, you guys all sound like you were put under for the procedure! All they did for me was give me local anasthetic. I guess I must have been lucky...I went back to work the same day, didnt really hurt at all. They gave me vicodin es 750's but I didnt even take any of them. As for losing the wisdom teeth making you dumb, it is actually a proven statistic that people that keep their wisdom teeth are more likely to have phsycological problems than those who dont.
  2. I have the 450 shocks, and I have stock arms. The top shock mount needs trimmed very slightly, but I had to move the inside of the bottom shock mount to accomodate for the geometry difference. Also the bottom of the shocks are much thicker, so I had to manipulate the metal in the mount a little so it wouldnt rub. I didnt really notice much of a height increase, and they are definately smoother than stock.
  3. Vitos Performance has them with the stroker plate for 599.95, and it says it requires no other mods. I dont know if theyll ship to your location though. Also, why would you be able to get a crank shipped to you, but not the pistons that are used with it?
  4. I think the idea is great!! However, I think the specifics definately need worked out. A big problem is going to be that if everyone sends a vhs tape made with a camcorder, that's exactly what it'll look like...a home video. I'm not an expert in the topic, but I think the quality shots you see in the professionally made movies is controlled in a large portion by the camera and film speed/type. You can count me in, but don't get expectations too high without having the right equipment.
  5. I buy mine at Yamaha of Warren...Its right up the road from my house.
  6. I have both, and I like the v-force reeds very much. As you said though, this is a matter of opinion. It seems like the reak issue with v-force reeds is whether or not it is worth the money or not. I havent heard anyone deny the power increase. I would go with the reeds first. Also, I would find out which domes your head has on it, because if it has the 18cc, 93 octane might not be enough...especially with a +4 timing.
  7. I am running 340's in mine (for the winter) and my mods are very similar to what you have. I agree that it sounds like youre running rich. If you need help jetting give me a call or pm me and I can come out and help you figure it out.
  8. Im not sure what that tube does, exactly. I think it creates some type of airlock. One of mine came off, and I just epoxied it back on. While it was off, it didnt seem to run any different, though. If it is lost, you should be able to go to a parts store and buy a new piece of tubing to replace it. As a side note, please try to watch your typing. It was hard to follow the question you were asking.
  9. I'm not 100% sure, but it's been my experience that no/low backpressure is not good for a motor. Someone will post correction if I'm wrong, but i would get the gap in the exhaust fixed.
  10. I bent my frame around the gas tank the same way. I cut the triangle braces out of the corners, and used a port-a-power to push it back up. then I welded in thicker braces.
  11. What would be a good ratio to use for mx with 20" tires?
  12. I have a N-style Gripper seat cover. It seems to be holding up well (had it about 2 years now) and it keeps you from sliding around. Cold doesnt seem to effect it any.
