  6. To get the most out of the 4mm you really need to have porting done to work with it. You should speak to a builder as you may not get your expected results with your current port job

  10. Also depending on how bad the bend is there is a chance it can snap while trying to bend it back
  11. I had an engineer straighten out 2 for me, one for my banshee and 1 for the wolverine, it cost like 50 bucks each and the guy reckoned it would have been truer than Yamaha had it. I did bend my banshee one again 3 weeks later though so I brought a aftermarket. Wolverine one is still fine 2 years on.

  15. Why did you take it in to the dealer if it was running right? Did you rejet your carbs for the porting, maybe your main is not giving it enough fuel, try pulling up your choke and see if it runs better or worse

  20. I am too lazy to type this all out myself so this is taken from bens FAQ, Q#29:What is the TORS? A#29:TORS is the Throttle OverRide System found on stock Banshees. It consists of the large boxy carb tops, a switch on the thumb throttle housing, a switch on the parking brake perch, and a control box mounted to the frame rail above the left cylinder. The function of the TORS is to limit engine RPM if the parking brake is engaged, or if the throttle is released and the carb slides don
  21. I will check my old stock carbs and see what I was at before my stroker. One thing I have noticed though is that I think I use less gas now, so I must have been jetted well rich before
  22. Just having a slight problem when starting my bike, when its cold I can kick it over and it will spark and start. But if I have been riding then I stop for a minute or something, then go to kick it over it wont fire up. I check for spark and nothing. Funny thing is though it will still crash start very easily every time I try weather it be hot or cold. Any one else ever have this problem before? or any ideas? I am starting to get sick of having to stop at the top of hills every time.
  23. I am running 34 pjs with air box lid off, t5's,vforce reeds and a pro design foam filter at sea level. 170 mains not sure on the pilots I will have to check but it seems to be running pretty much spot on. May be a little rich but I am not fouling plugs so I think I will leave it be. Luke
  24. I got that as an email. This was the story that came with it. Dayton Police Sgt. Charles Hurley said Scott Tegtmeyer was walking in the intersection of Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard at 12:40 p.m. when a Chrysler PT Cruiser ran a red light, struck a Subaru sports utility vehicle and sent it into the air. The Subaru landed upside down on Tegtmeyer and dragged him several feet across the intersection, Hurley said. Tegtmeyer, bloodied and surrounded by shattered glass, was pronounced dead on the scene, but he suddenly started breathing while in transit with paramedics. By 3 p.m., doctors had fully resuscitated him. On Sunday evening, he was in the Miami Valley Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Neither of the female drivers of the vehicles involved were carrying passengers. The woman driving the Subaru was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Information on the condition of the driver of the PT Cruiser was not available. Hurley said police talked to eight witnesses. He also said it is possible a camera mounted high above the intersection captured the crash. Dayton police reconstructionists, trained at putting clues together after crashes, were on the scene with digital cameras and measuring devices. The flipped Subaru showed noticeable crash damage on the left body panel. Ten yards away, the customized P.T. Cruiser with a "AAA" sticker on the back of its tinted windows showed damage to its front end.
