To tell you the truth I prefer the winter, everything gets wet and slipery, makes for better riding conditions. Hopefully I am going to head over to your side of the world sometime next year for a few weeks. If it all goes to plan I am going to try and make it co-inside with some sort of roosfest type event. Exact same thing happened to me. The crank would turn backwards but not fowards. Turned out that it was getting hung up on pistion material. The crank cleaned up well but i didnt want to trust it, so rather than buy a new one I went with boonmans second option. You should also try to find out what caused the pistion to fail, so you dont have a repeat eposide on your hands. Mine turned out to be the carb getting cloged up causing one side to run lean

I'd say a lot more relys on the rider then, just having the fastest bike in a straight line wont count for shit on the mx track

In NZ for rifles and shot guns you can sit your liscense at 16 then purchase them if you pass. Pistols are a diffrent story, you need to join a gun club and be a member for like at least 6 months then if the club thinks you are a safe enougth person you can apply for a pistol liscense. You are also only allowed to shoot your pistols at the club, Not even on your own land. and if you ever leave the club and not join another you lose your pistol liscense and have to sell them. You are in no way allowed to carry a concealed weapon

The Bike shop managed to get it running now, it was something to do with the wiring, once I provided them with a clymers manual that had a picture of the wiring harness it all came clear. I got their mechinic to take it for a quick ride around the coast to make sure it was all running sweet. So it looks like I will be good to go for this weekend, touch wood

I've had that happen to me, I was ripping down a trail in about 4th and the nut on the top left one came off. The front left side on the bike collapsed and I got ejected over the handle bars. That wasnt a very fun day, turned out the thread on the ball joint was screwed so i welded that sucker on, till I could afford some new aftermarkets

Ok I got a theory Now since I shipped my flywheel to the states to be lightened with my cylinders it would have gone through all sorts of xrays and scanners and shit. Now for what I've read the flywheel contains all sorts of magnets and shit that work with the stator to create an electrial charge. Could the xray/scanning have disrupted or weakend the charges in the magnets? possabally causing the problem I am having. I am tired and probably talkin a load of but I am running out of ideas

Ok heard back from the shop now and it seems they are stumped to. They have found that if you kick the bike over normally it wont spark, but if you keep kicking it over really fast it will start up. Also it is not any easier to start if its hot. Anyone got any ideas? or had this happen to them?
