  3. I think it looks bloody good, he must have put a lot of cash in that. Didnt it belong to a HQ member?, I think I have seen it before BigmotoXer mabey?
  4. 99% of people will say No there wont be any diffrence in HP. All they really do is look a little better. They have been discussed a lot on here
  5. Benbb wrote this primo FAQ on jetting, give it a read, it sure helped me out a whole lot http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html
  6. Go for whatever your budget allows. If you go for the milled option give Boonman a PM, he mills them for a price and is probably a lot cheaper than alba. He also does flywheels and stuff. And if you go for an aftermarket try pm'ing DLNoss, He offers a discount for HQ members
  7. I welded the peg to my frame without disconnecting anything and my bike ran fine, so you should be sweet
  8. Pro - You can buy lots of shiny billet parts to make it look prudy Con - You go broke buying lots of shiny billet parts to make it look prudy
  9. In the trails I was running 15/40 on my stock engine with T5's and it seemed to pull it fine. With all that extra HP you are gaining wouldnt you be better to gear it up to something like 16 or 17 on the front. With a 14 on the front your first few gears must be so short, and you must be shifting all the time
  10. Meat, I remember awhile back I was keen to trade you for a few of these, I forgot to tell you but I looked in to the shipping and it was gonna cost a packet to send over a bottle of drambuie and NZ customs are pretty strict for bringing food parcles into the country. I think its just going to be easier to pack my bags and a bottle or two and come over for roostfest 2005.
  11. I dont feel safe when I dont wear my chest protector, Its saved me a few times. Endoed a jump and slamed my chest in to the bars, didnt hurt as much as it could have. Also I like to wear a camel back and carry a few tools in it as well, if you came off and land on your back witout the protector between you, the wrenchs, screw drivers and spare sparkplugs could end up making quite a mess of your back. I run a shift chest protector, I find it a lot more comftable than my old fox one. I think they are well worth the money. The only time I didnt wear my protector I broke my coller bone in 3 places
  12. Jim for passion told me I would be sweet running AV with the motor hes making me. Will be using 20cc domes at sea lvl So thats good enough for me.
  13. You guys change your oil! I just run a slow leak and top it up everynow and then
  14. Remember to re-jet for the pipes and airfilter.
  15. They do fit apperantly, but they require grinding of the shock mounts This link has some pics of a shee with them installed http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23983
  16. Thats the fuckin life, cant wait till I retire No doubt all the riding areas will be closed by then though
  17. Just hope your the better rider
  18. I am definatly gonna go for the same sort of porting as yours, sounds exactly like what I need, all the riding around NZ is tight, rutted with a lot of climbing. On the trail rides I do a lot of the time you will becoming up some hill and some fool on a bike will get stuck or fall off in front of you, so you have to stop. Then getting started is a real bitch again because of the lag so you pretty much have to reverse down and have another crack at it. Then some some fuckin cocksucker jumps the queue and falls off in front of you again, pisses me off I hate those impatiet fucks, Power off idle is going to be great, make riding the tight stuff a lot more enjoyable. And jumping a lot easier too Anyhow 100+ top you reckon thats insane . I think I will be smoking my old mans wolverine in second. Speed like that with mad accelation will make for the perfect bike when I give some timed gravel hill climbs a go later in the year. I am going to the nz national jambaree in early may, they have one section that is a sweeping corner in to a long straight gravel road and about 3/4 down the straight they have a cop with a radar gun taking your speeds. Its just a fun thing, but they have prizes for the top speeds, last year I got sixth and was running a stock motor, stock gearing with t5's I was about 6 kmph off first place (another Banshee). This year I am going to blow the compertition out of the water!!!!
  19. 21 sec laps on a 1/2 mile track - I think that puts you around 86 mph Hit the wall at that speed and ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Damn you must fly with that 17/40 gearing, What sort of mph do you think you are topping out at? 90?
  21. needs sound! smurfs
  22. What do Women and Clouds have in common? Eventually when they f*ck off, we have a fine day

  24. I think he may be trying to get one together at the moment. Just give him a pm if you have any questions
  25. Cant you say you are thinking of buying the car, get the plates run to find out if its stolen and who the registered owner is. Then once you know that use a phonebook to find out where they live. Not sure if it works that way in the states, but thats what the car thieves do in NZ if they wnat to know where a car lives.
