Dude, fuck yourself. How's that for some roost.
  2. If there's enough discussion for it, i'd put one up. As always, it's up to the members if they think there's enough topics for a super moto forum of it's own.
  3. That flash vid is like my favorite repeating song: KENYA! http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/kenya/ i just like the sign on the bus. And don't forget Magical Trevor: http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/magical+trevor+2/

:yelrotflmao: I've debated this over & over since the deal with the last banning. It's damned if you do, damned if you don't. Honestly, I had to put my tail between my legs, unban, and walk on to other threads and mind the site and just work forward. It'll be pretty extreme now if I ban someone. The only exceptions so far for bans have been spammers, to which I ban their IP/Email/Name and suspend their account indefinitely to make sure spam is kept under control. Other than that, Helldriver and anyone else that's controversial... if this many people are in an uproar about you, it may be for a good reason. Why put wd40 on the fire? I'm not singleing you out, but this is the HD thread...so I'm addressing anyone who are causing others to come out with their opinions. Personally, I have no qualms with you, so it's not a personal statement. To anyone who doesn't like the person, skip the thread, post, or do as I do, and utilize the "Ignore User" feature for anyone's posts you don't want to see/read. You all know those of you who made the ban policy lighter. I was all for ruling with an iron fist for years, but apparently it's not the popular vote when it affects someone they like.
  5. Looks like it's official then, haha. Moncton it will be. That's still on the way back from PEI en route to maine. If anyone is around there and feel like a night out on Sat. Aug. 5, post here or shoot me an IM. It'd be good to share some brews and some eye candy with fellow HQ's of the north.
  6. Hmm, I'll go over that w/ the buddies. thanks man. we'll go where the good ones are.
  7. Going to be in PEI on the 3rd of August then down to St. John for some "clubs" on Saturday before we head back home on Sunday. Taking the street bikes up there for vaca. at a buddy's place in PEI. If anyone's close to St. John, hit me up, join us for some drinks on Sat. -L
  8. Let me know if you need the Moto phone tools.
  9. No doubt on the heat. Been in the 90's + humidity for the last few days including today. Just got home from a baseball game, left after the 7th inning cause it was scorching. I'll take this over the maine winters anytime though.
  10. Ellison, that is a smokin' shee. Wish I could claim that as my own but the one I had wasn't nearly as pimp as that one. For now, It'll have to be the crotch rocket and v-dub mods to work on. Who knows, maybe this winter I may just do up the project quad, and cure my withdrawals from the shee.
  11. That's something I've been planning for a while now. I'm thinking of picking one up over the winter and working on it as a BHQ project shee. Not positive on it but it'd be good to do.
  12. Haha, here we go... again. Unlike a certain someone trying to call me out.. I HAD a shee; it's in my profile pic. I keep it in there for nostalgia. I bought it in 1996, sold it in 2004'ish. HOWEVER... I still run the site out of loyalty. To just say screw the site, because I sold the shee to a friend (who incidently, had been begging me for years to sell to him), wouldn't be right. You guys expressed how much you use the site (and the web-log statistics show it) so I keep the site going and use advertising/premiums to pay for upgrades, add-ons etc. as you all know. It's no secret to the people who've been here, but for anyone who wants to know, I'm honest enough to tell the story. BTW, it was originally red/white/blue when i bought it but put Maeir black fenders and a CEET seat cover. Did some boring of the cylinders (.40) and put toomey's on. Later put some nerfs shortly before i sold it.
  13. BTW, if you type in Yamaha Banshee at google, it comes up as the first site good rankings.
  14. Good parade today actually. Always a huge event here, probably a good 40,000 watchers. had the navy fly by a few times over the parade with fighter jets and another huge navy plane. Happy 4th everyone, be safe & enjoy the BBQ'ing and explosions!
  15. Figured I'd share my pic from Southwick a couple of years ago (carmichael behind the guy on the left). Always good to see RC go all out. It was great to see "Bubba" out there on the track too. They're both very competitive riders and set new precidences for the MX scene and other riders.
  16. It says "voting is closed" under the poll title.
  17. Yeah, I didn't get too crazy, I got the Specialized Hardrock. They can definitely get pricey when you get the higher models.
  18. Yes, when I built up my comp last year I liquid cooled it. The water heatsinks cool both the CPU and the vid card. It doesn't sub-cool the processor, just eliminates the need for fans on each. keeps it around 95 degrees and is quiet. With the stock P4 heatsink/fan it ran about 130 degrees. This is the kit I used, made by Evercool: http://www.cluboverclocker.com/reviews/sup...c_202/index.htm
  19. The ad rates just went up. j/k Looking at the web statistics, I can't see a huge jump but so far there has a bit of a spike in traffic.
  20. I'm just wondering how long it took the guy near the end with the fully-marked head to scrub all that off. Get a bit of marker on your finger when you're writing something and it's still there 3 days later.
  21. Milo, here's my take on getting a trail/mountain bike: As a long time trail and generally off-road adventurer (sp?) I've found time and time again that if you get mainstream gear, you'll get mainstream life out of it. If you plan to take the bike out often you don't want to get stuck out there w/ damaged parts (or at least you want the damage to be minimal). About 5 years ago, I bought a Specialized, after having some mediocre bikes. I waited & priced. Then just went to the bike shop here and they hooked me up with the previous year left-over. Priced at $100 or so less than retail, for a new bike; i couldn't say no. The difference between the Specialized and the mediocre/mainstream bikes, was that I still have and use the Specialized. You can certainly find one for $350-$450. Learn as much as you can before spending the money though. Talk to people about what kind of riding you'll be doing so they can help you with the right fit, otherwise you might get a bike that wears you out too soon or counterproductive to your style of riding. The same goes for hiking and kayaking for example. I've learned my lessons with both as to, hold out and spend a little more to get the right gear. If you only plan on going out once in a dogs age... then a mongoose from Wally will probably work for ya. Just 2 cents, from the guy up in the north country.
  22. I just saw him the other day impale himself on a fence, levitate some girl, and walk up a huge wall with his umbrella. I guess the old days of david copperfield for the slight-of-hand arts is over. Oh well, like Chase said, makes for some decent tv when your alternatives are reality shows.
  23. Very Cool. Thanks for sending that in Tyler. Good to see the members getting some national recognition.
  24. I'll have to go out tonight & pick that up. ATV Sport sent me the May 2005 issue where BansheeHQ was recognized in their "Web Corner" area. Always good to get some publicity for the site, some banshee riders still don't know about BansheeHQ.
