  1. Not sure what this post is about... please elaborate.
  2. If you're here to start shit.. I'm on to you. .. .. .. "B-rad" Just a warning.
  3. Seriously, those stores would make a killing. Or if it was like LL Bean, where you can bring her back anytime and exchange for new if she doesn't live up to expectations.
  4. Congrats man! Another future HQ'er!
  5. The Site sponsors currently are (and I'm proud to mention them any chance I can): - Noss Machine: http://www.nossmachine.com - Sweet Quads: http://www.sweetquads.com - TRG Coating: http://www.trgcoating.com - Wolfpack Racing: http://www.wolfpackracing.com - and of course HQ premium members. hehe - oh, and shameless self promotion of my biz, HQ Network. As for getting paid, I've yet to be burned by Google. I can't vouch for accuracy of clickthrough's etc. but it seems accurate based on the ratio of hits I have web-analysis reports on my servers for, in relation to google's representation of clickthroughs. But if they burn me, they're outta here! :baseball_nuke: well, maybe I'd give them time to recitfy it.
  6. The only ads I want showing are that which pertain to the sport or powersports market. I am working on tweaking it so the ads are more relavent, but yes Polish is right in terms of supporting the site w/ the ads. You don't have to click on them just for the sake of support, but if you see an ad that interests you, it might bring you to a good deal online or to a good site. Google's pretty reliable for having strict policies for their advertising customers. The google ads have been on the home page since pretty much the start of the redesign. I've wanted to include them on the forums but couldn't think of a place to do so without cluttering it up and being unnecessary. I came to the conclusion I'd put them down at the footer, and occasionally near the top (which is only on the page where you view a thread. all other pages do not have them near the header). If a Banshee-specific merchant or vendor wanted a large ad in either of the google-ad spots, they would replace the google ads for the time they advertise on here. Hope this clears it up and helps reassure that you won't be seeing Visa and Viagra ads on here ever, if I can help it. And if anything like that shows up in the google ads, let me know.. I can filter out what is displayed on the google ads.
  7. I'll stick w/ my Cingular. Had them for about 3 years now & get great service. Plus the rollover minutes kick ass.
  8. I jumped on here as soon as I saw the article, but saw that someone beat me to it. It's crazy whenever you hear of a celebrity dying. But just like the extemists everywhere, whether it be crocodile hunters or base jumpers, you kinda saw it coming, sadly. The irony in this one is that he didn't die by the crock's, but rather a stingray. crazy stuff. RIP you crazy sonnofa-gun!
  9. I'm always skeptical of eBay rip-off's of genuine products. Here's what i think of this auction: 1) judging by the way the title is worded: "Yankee Candle Aroma..." keyword being aroma. That's like saying "Yamaha Banshee Style" where it's probably not genuine yamaha. 2) The label doesn't match. unless it was one before they hit the big-time & started putting pictures on their labels with their brand name in large print at the top of the label. 3) their site doesn't have "neroli & rose" listed from what i can see: Alphabetical list of products here IMO, some bidder is getting hosed on this purty smell. I burn candles all the time, since glade plug-ins usually give me a headache and make they house smell too much like perfume.
  10. HAHA, funny u mention that. One of my niece's did that the other day. didn't do a bad job, better than i could do; but she decided she didn't like the hair getting in her eyes all the time. kids are funny that way. As for the tagging, there's some pretty creative tags around here between the many bridges/overpasses and rail cars (trains). Teach your little bro to do it creatively...and respectfully. Who knows, maybe someday he'll be one of those that make incredible sidewalk art, murals or even air-brushing.
  11. A friend of mine sent me this link: http://www.costco.com/Common/Category.aspx...=BC&topnav= It got me thinking... not of death but, the nature of selling caskets. He mentioned those haven't quite reached the in-store level yet, mostly because they're not your typical "impulse buy" item. But I told him when they reach the store they'll put one up near the registers right next to the promo display for Fast Break candy bars. I like the cross-promoting. click a casket. "Product Recommendations: Military Delux Flag Case" they should have "customers who bought this also bought: -Flowers: $3.99 & up! -Hankerchefs: $1.99! -Life insurance policy: (prices vary) -Smith and Wesson rifle: $109.95 **SALE PRICE**! " And he replied: 'invest in your future! Buy bulk funeral items at Costco today!' And the final reply by me: "Gift wrapping not available for this item" Had to share the laughs, figured some of you would get a kick out of it like i did.
  12. Happy birthday! Hope your recovery is speedy and as painless as possible.
  13. Thanks Brooke for the heads up. This has been fixed, and I'm currently working with the invision people to get a tighter grasp on where the loophole is. I didn't notice it last night. I use Firefox, which I strongly suggest anyone running windows use. IE let's anything and everything through. I'll be working on the fix, guys. Sorry for the troubles. Here are a couple good places to scan your computer if you think you've been infected by any spyware/adware/trojans. http://www.bitdefender.com (click the free scanner online link on the lower left) http://www.ewido.net (free online scanner) http://free.grisoft.com (AVG antivirus [free virus program] )
  14. I'll try to put something together for a banshee-of-the-month.
  15. RSS is essentially a text version of a site. However, only certain content (in this case thread titles & links to the thread, etc) are included in the RSS. Any newsfeed you see from a news source, on a relavent site, is probably an rss feed. You can use rss and xml on a bunch of devices such as PDA's with wifi/ethernet, mobile phones, or tablet pc's, even watches (the spiffy net/pc watches for geeks). RSS uses a language called XML, which is a tag-based language (similar to html) that tells the mobile device or whatever is reading it, how to display the rss file (formatting, spacing, etc). Just a very portable, slimmed down way to get headlines and tidbits out without causing bandwidth issues.
  16. What I think is incredible is the fact that not only does he surpass in freestyle moto-x, but ALSO won the first Rally car in the X-Games! Colin McCrae, if you didn't see it, came in second after ROLLING HIS CAR OVER and took right off again to place second behind Pastrana. Incredible stuff.
  17. Yeah before he moved to Texas, an associate (works for SMR magazine) of mine used to go hunting w/ him out in his ranch every time he was out in vegas. He brought me back a signed cover of Small Arms Review from "uncle teddy".
  18. i'll work on shortening the width when I get back to the states. I should be able to find a better display for them as a forum modification.
  19. My future motorcyle is on my desktop. Triumph Daytona
  20. I'm on a different network (at a client's right now) and it seems fine. Any else having the issue?
  21. I've been to a Denny's at 2am in Boston. I've seen aliens. At least they didn't look human to me.
  22. I've always liked T-Shirt Hell . I have the "easy like sunday morning" shirt. Probably the least offensive shirt on that site. In their disclaimer it even says "we don't condone the purchasing/wearing of these shirts" but u know when you say that, it'll be a must-have for people. Another one is T-Shirts That Suck . They don't update much though.

As with another thread, I took care of three members today. To give you a hint, they all had very low post counts. Closing the thread.
