  1. Yes, and I've done both. This time it was a different file. which leads me to feel good about the file privileges I set last week on the other area it was going into. Meaning, It appears I solved the issue from one angle, but they came at a different angle this time.
  2. I agree. Let someone else eat the new bike cost. You'll get a much better bang for your buck after someone's paid the interest on it for a couple years.
  3. My buddy I ride with has an SV 650. He likes it. He got lower/side fairings, and piped it. It definitely can move (I've ridden it a few times). It's a good all-around street bike. Not built for touring or top-end but it'll keep up with the 600/700 classes (except for maybe the Gixxer's or RR's). The seating on it is a bit hard and oddly shaped but the ergonomics are good. Big difference from my GSX 600.
  4. No. The BansheeHQ does not impliment spyware/adware/malware, etc. The new look and upgrades were intended for YOU the members, otherwise I wouldn't have spend ungodly amount of time upgrading and maintaining it. Cookies: IPB is a more advanced forum than most out there. They use cookies for many things such as keeping you logged in when requested, remembering 'read' topics, etc. Rather than keeping a lot in the database, which would cause it to grow exponentially, it uses small cookies for that. No sensitive information, if you look into the cookies, are stored within. Scripts: The only scripts running during your visit around the forums, are the forums themselves, any plugins (which you can see [i.e. Arcade, Gallery, Chat, etc] And ad-serving scripts for our sponsors. I do everything I can and as promptly as possible to keep the site up, running smoothly, and up-to-date. I'm an advocator of the fight against sneaky practices the adware/spyware industry takes. It's not right for the consumer and internet contributors. Spyware/Malware poses security risks and information sharing which the BansheeHQ has never, nor never will do. The BHQ is supported only by sponsors and premium members. Any questions on any issues, please feel free.
  5. She's headed right for that wall. Nice find nonetheless!
  6. Haven't gone online w/ them much but Doom 3 and Call of Duty 2. If I want to play against real people, i usually have some buddies bring over ther comps for LAN gaming.
  7. Or if it was spelled completely wrong like: blawnd nothing personal Kayleigh... just blonde humor. good thing that doesn't count for guys or else i'd be screwed.
  8. Should be correct now if you select your actual time zone in your profile settings. For some reason, the server was correct, but the board is reading it 3 hours off. I had to set the board to take 180 minutes off the time for it to display correctly.
  9. The chat link in the header area has a resizable popup window. At least in mozilla/firefox based browsers. Does it not allow you to in IE?
  10. Yessir, Boston & Oakland.
  11. Penguin toss... I'll match ya. It's on.
  12. UPDATE Games and chat are now installed and functional again. If you run into any errors, problems using either the chat or games, please let me know. The gallery will be up as soon as I can. Hopefully this week (week of June 12)
  13. The chat is now back and online. In addition to, premium members, go get your ass whupped by the champs in the Arcade. (notice I don't have any crowns next to my name...but I still love penguin toss)
  14. Didn't see any fighting one's with bats/baseball related. But if anyone does see one, hit me with a link. I'll add it. :thumb:
  15. Yes, I know this is a Banshee site. So why the baseball icons? As I've done with the holiday season (santa hat etc.) I'll try to do some seasonal emoticon replacements. :baseball_bat: :baseball_w00t: And some of the old favs that I didn't have replacements for are still up. It's baseball season. I figured it fit the genre here better than say... easter and general summer seasons. Pastel's and Banshees don't mix well.
  16. Found that ammusing. Who would'a thought that paddling employees would get u in trouble? I'm guessing this wasn't an 'adult entertainment' company.
  17. Is it giving you an error when you try to upload/change your avatar? If so, please send me a copy of the error or post it here. Thanks -L
  18. Please see my response on this thread: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62325
  19. Scrolling issue fixed. Resized main tables to 800. (still might have an issue with the reply screen but I'll work on that if anyone has issues still w/ it) -L
  20. Yeah, i've been looking for someone via the net for a long time who could make us some decent flags with BHQ or BansheeHQ on them. If anyone knows of any manufacturers, hit me up.
  21. right-on buddy. those were the dayz.
  22. As far as width goes. I'll set it to 800 width as needed by some. However, as soon as someone posts an overly-wide image it just blows it all out of whack anyways. Just my 2 cents. And yes, when I build sites for customers, it's percentage based generally. However, with the BHQ i tend to utilize my web-equivalence of "poetic license" with the new designs and features. And going on 9 years of programming/web architecture, i'm no stranger to standards and best practices
  23. It'll be up as soon as I can find a suitable replacement that's compatible with the forums. It's on my to-do list.
  24. I fell asleep at a slayer concert. Ozzfest 1998. but that was probably induced by umm, substances and the 90 degree weather & high humidity. Waking up though to buckethead was a site for sore eyes.
  25. THe width is set for the industry standard resolution (1024x768) Any computer off the shelf now is going to have it set at least that if not 1280x1024. If too many people are having to scroll horizontally, post it and I'll slim it down a notch.
