What size rear tires u run? Can u measure the distance from ground to lowest part of link? I’m setting my bike up for desert racing and do not want to lose ground clearance if I decide to get the elka link. I’m allready bashing the stock link on rocks. I have a -1.5 fireball arm. Full of rust water doesn’t sound good. If you feel that the stator and flywheel are still good just clean rust from off the pickup contacts. But just replace with oem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Verify jetting for area you ride. Leak down test while carbs are off. Comp test Ensure proper spark plugs are installed. Ensure brakes work and all wheel/hub/sprocket and brake bolts/nuts are tight. Make sure chain and sprockets are not extremely worn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
