  1. I keep the clutch lever pulled in for long storage to keep the clutch pack from sticking, I may be wearing out the springs but I feel that it keeps the springs from “squeezing” out the oil.
  2. Wanted!!! Looking for these. Seems like everything I seek I need again.
  3. Wanted!!! Looking for these. Seems like everything I seek I need again.
  4. Bad o ring allowed water in, leaned out the mix, water wouldn’t compress and the dome became weak point.... I really don’t know just throwing it out ther.
  5. Thread mining.... I attempted to bolt the pep stick stabilizer up like pictures above... oversize radiator, Paul turner pipes. I used the same motor mount bolt hole as pictured. I had to run my stabilizer and the stem clamp to the opposite side of the photo above as the lower water neck and rad hose was in the way. Seems I won’t notice the dampner “working” until I hit something hard going fast.
  6. Oem stems bend extremely easily. check for play in tie Rod ends at stem and spindles, check steering stem clamp/block for wear.
  7. Stock carbs with tors. 100 shipped to the 48.
  8. Stuff would have been GONE here in komelafornia

  12. Some bikes go together easy, some fight every bolt along the way!!!! joy of mixing aftermarket and oem. If they told me they fixtures were off I would return everything for a full refund and explain to them they will get my money when they can provide items they they KNOW I won’t be returning. There’s a problem when the seller admits to sending bad parts. The nerf bars look nice!!!! atleast they gave u some kinda price break to compensate a known issue.
  13. They should send u pipes to review for us. 😂
  14. My brake lever not hard to pull at all. not arguing just adding my opinion which I know doesn’t mean shit. you would put Ferrari brakes on a ford tempo? Ferrari have a lot more weight, power, larger tire size to warrant bigger rotors and calipers. damn I havnt heard any body talk about a tempo in long time. Back in the day they made a 4wheel drive conversion for those things. We had a tempo and a tempest growing up. Cars were ugly and pos. I believe Yamaha retooled everything for the 450 just so they can say everything is new. Who wants to buy the newest model and see parts from the 80’s on it? Only reason for one to put 450 brakes it to say they did. FPS braking will be the same on either, if the machine needs to stop quickly both setups will do the same thing—Lock the tires then it’s the tires job to push the dirt to build up in front of the wheels or tires job to grab the hard surface.
  15. Save your money. Yfz shocks are for yfz’s. do more research! You can get better then yfz shock for your shee for around 400$
  16. Master cylinder difference—-bigger bore pushes more fluid—-at the same rate as a oem, only pushes as hard as the hand squeezes the lever. Dual pistons—cover more surface area of the rotor. Stock rotors are not undersized to the single piston caliper on a oem banshee. hence my oem brakes work fine for the weight of the bike and I. Fact—best possible braking is 80% front 20% back applied at same rate and time.
  17. stock brakes lock the wheels up. I have ridden a 450, not a banshee with 450 brakes but I don’t use the breaks enough to warrant changing them. I have never ridden “woods” or groomed mx track. Mostly wide open desert. Some dunes. Lots of rocks. I don’t want to cut it he rock guards either. not a worth while “mod” for me. Better tires = better grip.
  18. Stock brakes lock up the wheels just as good as any other.
