Wouldn't Kevin Bore/Hone the cylinders once he is done the porting?

Posted

ya thats what kevin said to run i just wanted to make sure, lol you think ill notice a BIG difference over just piped and filter to ported, new pistons, milled head, and advanced timing?

Porting is the biggest increase you can notice, it's crazy...

Like when you go from stock to pipes, a coolhead, and timing advance, well double or tripple that feeling.

Kevin does great work, highly recommended!

Just do what Kev tells you to do...to the letter! He knows his $hit...

You'll be happy!

Stock carbs suck donkey ballz. I would look for a set of Keihin 33PWK's or Mikuni 34mm TM flatslides. Would compliment your porting really nice and support a 4mil etc if you go bigger in the future...

arrtarded question but dont u have to run higher octane if u go above plus 4 timing? i have my bike set at 4 and runs on 91 with no problem. another bike i have is at +5 and when its on 91 its like WTF U WANT ME TO DO WITH THIS SHIT! but when we burn 100 in it its.. just awsome?

There's not set rule... I ran +5 with 91 octane but I only had 135psi compression.

+4 is a good rule though, especially if your getting close to the 140-150 range in compression. If your lower on compression it will take a little more timing without detonating...
