I have read alot on the I RAZR I was looking into them myself I was talked out of it by the wear factor everyone said they wear out really fast. I bet they both wear fast cause of lug spaceing.

rockymountainatv.com has the best deals on all tires

i have ever seen good luck

i recommend neither tires man..

kenda knarly are a good hooking tire that last a long time, plus theyre cheap.

stock yfz450 tires are also great tires. theres usually someone trying to get rid of a new take off set pretty cheap..

ive run damn near every tire out there. ive found these two to be the most durable in the most conditions, the best priced and to have the best hook up..

I was hoping you would pitch in on the Knarly's Loco. You have had real good luck running them on hard packed haven't you? I'm still deciding whether I should cut them or leave them for now. Did you notice much once you cut yours Loco?

Hmm, I want to try something different then the general pattern of razr's, holeshots, tires like that. I have seen the Knarly's and the lugs look like a good 17/32 or at least more.

RM is pretty cheap, figure like like $55 for each tire, however shipping would def be $$$$. The shop I'm getting my Knarly's for are charging me like $68 each, and they are a whole 10mins away. Though those tires are $55, shipping would def take it over what I'm paying

the irazrs work awesome... but ware out kinda fast, they do hookup awesome though, especially on hard stuff

didnt they just start sellin the duro hookups? i was lookin at them in rmatv too, they look pretty nasty, has anyone here tried them yet?

this is not a shot at you loco... but i dont see how eveyrone talks up the knarleys so much, the only time i have seen knarleys in action were on my friends 450r, popping a hole in them every 20 mins, blew out his sidewall, holes everywhere, he bought a backup and destroyed that in no time too... they seem very cheap and not very tough for GNCC type riding, we all run some kind of holeshots or razr's and none of us get holes, very rarley, he was gettin 3 plug holes in them on a regular basis untill he ditched em for some itp's

ive had nothing but good luck. i only run the cut ones for hillclimbs. otherwise, i run them as they come. ive had awesome luck with them.

i dont even see how that would happen. ive never put a hole or anything in mine. and ive run them thru some pretty nasty trails and shit.

hmmm are they all 6 ply?

Did he have just the Knarly's like Loco is running in his sig? Or were they the soft compound ones or the other version? I Have ran 6 ply's before and never had a puncture of any kind. Maybe he got a bad set of tires :ermm:

ive got knarlys out back and klaws up front and love them. My buddy has holeshot gncc's and we both got them at the same time, and i hook just as good as he does, its about even!

I run the MAXXIS iRAZR's on the rear and MAXXIS Front-Pro's on my woods Banshee and I'm happy with the way they hook here in Kentucky where the soil has a lot of clay and lime stone content. My only complaint is their a little unpredictable in the corners under heavy throttle. Some times I feel like the bike might go one way and I might go the other.

I haven't run them long enough to tell you guys how good their going to wear yet, but I'm hoping I get pretty good life out of them because they are expensive. It seems like most of you guys that do aggressive trail riding agree the iRAZR's are a pretty damn good tire. I made the comment a few weeks ago to few BHQ Members that I thought the iRAZR was a good tire for a Banshee that did aggressive woods and trail riding and they hooked really well in a woods/trail terrain.

Loco told them they were JUNK and they were the worst tire you could ever put on a Banshee and the 2-Ply OHTSU MR-501 Stock Honda Radial Tires were best XC tire out there for the Banshee?? 2-Ply for a XC Bike??

Like you other woods riders I found that the iRAZRs do great in the woods and on hard pack terrain. IMO a 6-Ply tire is a must on trail racer unless you want to be setting on the side of a trail with a flat tire full of red thorns or a side wall with a gash in it. The sharpe limestone rocks on the trails around here will cut a 2-ply tire in a second.

When I bought the iRAZRs I didn't know about the Duro Hook-Up's if I had I would have bought them because their half the price of the iRAZRs and I like the bigger lugs and open pattern. I just bough a full set to mount on a set of ITP T9's to go on my wife's Raptor 250 and I must say they are a pretty bad ass tire. I'm thinking about buying two new rear DWT Blue Labels and a set of the Hook-Up rears and cutting every other lug out of them for the KOI Trail Quad Class 200ft and 300ft Dirt Drags.

Do any of you know any one that's cut a set of iRAZRs or Hook-Ups? If so how did they do?
