RZBansheeMan Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 What are your present mods ? Quote
Frogger Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 I don't think you're going to get an honest, non bias opinion on a forum dedicated to banshees. But if you want mine! Stick with what you got. Quote
BansheeRider71 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 If your gonna race I say YFZ, the technology is there an so is the handling, I used to own one an because I wasnt gonna race it I traded it in on a new Banshee, mine was mx ready all I really did was all around ride with it an it got boring so I got the shee instead. YFZ for the track an Banshee for anything else. You can race the 450 in the 250 class (much more competitive), Banshee is an open class quad. Quote
pweezy42 Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 for the racing yfz  for the fun stick with the shee Quote
wiecha17 Posted January 23, 2008 Author Report Posted January 23, 2008 What are your present mods ? the mods im running on it asr plus 2 up 1 a arms . dura blue x 33 axle lowering kit . twist throttle. nerfs. pod filters. trinity pipes.. but for what im racing and wanting to race i think the 450 will be better cause around here atv racing is starting to dye and not to many racers are comming out so i think im going to let my good old shee go and look for a 450 Quote
BaNsHeeJuNkEy Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 450 for racing and shee for fun better handling more torq and less rebuilds on the motor. or you can race the shee but going to need more stuff and going to rebuild it more. i would probley go with 450 because of dependability but i love my shee.  Quote
gumby6t9 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I sold my 06 TRX450R and bought my 2000 Banshee... Two strokes are just more fun to ride IMO... Quote
Michael Jackson Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 go with the 300ex, they are lightweight and extremely powerful machines, and they look cool Quote
atvfreestylekid Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 i think im going to let my good old shee go and look for a 450 That's what I'd do. If I was retarded... Sorry, I hate 4-strokes. I say drop 2 g's in the shee. Because if you get 5000 for your bike, a new yfz will still be at least 2gs more. My local shop had an se for like 7600. Plus I hate seeing the 2-strokes fade away. Quote
atvfreestylekid Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 go with the 300ex, they are lightweight and extremely powerful machines, and they look cool I hope you're not serious... He'd be better off to ride a bicycle... Quote
colby72olds Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 ^of course he's joking...how many good looking, fast 300ex's have you ever heard of? lol Quote
sexybansheegirl Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 go with the 300ex, they are lightweight and extremely powerful machines, and they look cool That's just about the gayest thing I've ever heard. Good job MJ. Quote
BaNsHeeJuNkEy Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 i wouldn't buy a new one from a dealer you can get a used one that has like 5 hours on it from someone that wants to get ride of it for 4500. seen it on here with mods. he wouldn't be dumb better for racing. come do you want ot win easy and have money or win hard as have no money. if you could i would say get a loan and buy a 450 so you can keep your shee. they are fun as hell to play with any time of day. btu if you want ao good quad to race i would say a 450 and if wont cost as much to keep up.
