BaNsHeeJuNkEy Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 o ya and i wouldn't get a 300ex if your going to do that get a 400ex shit my brothers halles ass pretty good. but still loses on top end hehe Quote
theshee Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 I will give you an unbias opinion. I have both a YFZ and banshee, and I can tell you right now if MX racing is even a thought, the 450 is a better bike. They come ready to race, with no suspension changes. If you are going to get into that kind of racing, the 450 is your best bet. Quote
HotCarl Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 he said he was racing flat track, which i would think the extra power from a banshee would help a lot. Quote
wiecha17 Posted January 24, 2008 Author Report Posted January 24, 2008 im going to be doing both kinds of riding competitively flat track and oval. and i have some tight wood trails around here so the 450 would be the best bet. and ya i really dont want to get rid of the shee cause they haul ass on the top end but for cost wise a 450 is good choice. and ya i would never get a 300 ex i had a 400 and got sold to buy the shee. Michael Jackson Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 yea get a 450 then, they got good power, great torque, handle great, great machines,, just not as fun to ride as a banshee, if i was into jumping and all that crap i wouldnbt be doing it with a banshee, aside from the horrible suspension geometry and heavy weight compared to the 450's, the power delivery is just horrible for hitting jumps Quote
notsed Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 i love my shee, i would only get a yfz if i could keep her Quote
jcbanshee Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 The 450 is gonna have better handling but There is nothing better sounding than a shee a w/ pipes Quote
BasicBajaX Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 Get the 450. Alot more up do date Quote
