03 banshee with stage 5 porting with 34 mm kiehn carbs, vforce reeds,19cc domes, pro desighn coolhead, wisesco pistons, vitos fat bastard pip degrees + 5 timing advance,k n filter 150 psi kicking pressure.Shouldnt the psi be higher the bike feels sluggish and bogs in 1 st 2nd.Top end does not bod or pop but does not feel much faster than unported should i get 18cc domes i am not scared of race fuel. Also it does not idle no matter how much you adjust the idle adjusters.

What has been done to the bike since last time it worked fine?

stage 5 port work 34mm carbs intake manifolds 19 cc domes the base gasket is a .20 vitos gasket which would cause the slightly lower compression in both cylinders?

sounds like your jetting is off. if you got the carbs "prejetted" thats your problem. you cant rely on that to work. every engine will have slightly different jetting, even if they are setup identically.. you need to see what jets are in those carbs..

150 psi would not be uncommon with that set up. You should be running race fuel though. Here where I run 34 pj's on a similar set up.

155 mains

CGM middle notch, C series needles will be the better choices.

I would have to agree with everyone else its probably your jetting what do your plugs look like?

i am running race fuel, but would like more compression,is there a need for 17cc domes or 18cc

if you want more compression then yea you need smaller domes... but with your mods 150 isnt bad... why exactly do you want more compression? the gains are minimal versue the money you spend on the gas... right now you can run 50/50 and be perfect and you wont see really any gains by going to stright race gas..

not necissarly, only way to check your jetting is pulling your plugs and reading them...

2 strokes arnt like 4 strokes you cant do your jetting by popping or backfireing...
