  1. Looking for a pair of Big Bore sleeves for a Banshee shipped to 48848. May also consider some stock replacement sleeves as well.
  2. Talk to your engine builder, head/timing issue/detonation. Does the dyno guy have the gizmo and even if he does can they fix the head if its not timing?
  3. I have a set of 34 pj's for $200 shipped. pm me if interested. Thanks, Bob.
  4. I have a pair of stock cylinders cut for a 4mm. Comes with race cut stock head and a new pair of 795's at 64.5mm. These cylinders were sent for a drag port to me, the original porting was rather extensive on the intake side. I straightened them out and put a decent drag port on them. The intake sleeve area is very thin, they will survive, just don't drop them. The person who sent these to me has never paid for the work, so their loss. I'm asking $465 shipped.
  5. I have a race cut stock head for a 4mm, $85 shipped. Or $60 shipped if you send me a decent stocker.
  6. $5500.00 or decent offer. rigid chromoloy chassis, chromoloy wheelie bar, aluminum fuel tank, 13 paddle tripple buffs 72 ro, razr fronts, aluminum axle, round house carrier, galfer rear rotor, tripple ti sidewinder chain/sprockets, 7mm stroker, cub cylinders, A&S out of frame chrome pipes, v-force reeds, 39mm intakes and 40mm keihin carbs on gas, lock up clutch 2-5 override. Every part is almost like new as has only made a dozen passes, ran a 4.5 out of the box, 4.4 within 3 passes and threw the master link. Needs the motor mount re-aligned to elmiinate the chain throw. Otherwise it ran out of gear at 3/4 track. Selling due to limited use, over $8500 invested, otherwise may part out in the future. e-mail rbracing11@msn.com for more info or call 517-388-3662.
  7. I have a 96 with in frame pipes, 34mm pj's, v-force, cool head, lightened flywheel, welded crank, fully ported and dyno tuned to 80 HP for $3500. Or I have an 89 with just a dune port and t-4 pipes for $1500. E-mail me if interested.
  8. I have a plus 6 swinger and jarms, $225 shipped.
  9. I have an 89 shee w/t-5s and some motor work. $1650/BO. I'll get some pics if you're interested.
  10. I have a new set of Wiseco pistons 66.25mm in size, new rings, new circlips but no wrist pins. $135 shipped.

    Rear shock

I have an OEM take off from an 06 Banshee that looks brand new. $75 shipped if interested. Bob.
  12. I have a pro-design one that's discolored orange but cleans up easily with some aluminum polish. $35 shipped, e-mail me at rbracing11@msn.com if interested. Bob.
  13. I have a mint condition brand new stock rear shock for $100 shipped if interested. Thanks, RB.
  14. blacknred03, you obviously got conflicting info here which is not uncommon. Your best served by giving your motor builder FAST a call. A 360 main is right on, so its not lean. A 20cc dome will be at least 13.5 full stroke compression which most builders on a Banshee won't go over 13:1 on pump gas. Relying on cranking compression to determine fuel octane is asking for trouble. You can have a motor with a 15:1 compression ratio which will have 175 psi and another with more porting only have 145 psi. Here's a link to a fuel chart which is another guideline, but in my experierience compression ratio plays a huge role in determining the octane requirements. http://www.msnusers.com/RBRacingTwoStrokeP...uel%20Chart.jpg The bottom line is the pitting on top of the piston=detonation. You should either increase the dome size or increase the octane. Retarding the timing will help but it likely won't be enough to eliminate the pitting. Hope this helps.
  15. The 65.06mm will give most fresh set of Wiseco's a .005 clearance (that's the recommended limit) which is where you want to freshen up the bore. I'd recommend going to the next size at least. How did you check the bores and did you check around the intake, exhuast and ring ridge areas? Without a dial bore guage its difficult to tell those areas. Also did you check if the bore was out of round as well.
  16. If you really think you're going to get tested, you will want a silencer with an ISDE stamping on it. They are the quietest and should be 94 or less. The 2 into 1 are good trail pipes but I'm not sure if they have the ISDE stuff. Otherwise FMF with ISDE will pass for sure, Pro circuit has a good set as well. If you plan on building your motor more than just pipes, stay away from the hush kit stuff. I don't think Paul Turner will have any thing with an ISDE silencer. Hope this helps.
  17. Pull the stator cover and look for a loose bolt between the flywheel and stator. I've seen this one several times on a banshee.
  18. The pitting is from detonation and with 20cc domes you should run at least a 100 octane or 50/50 mix. Basically you need more octane or less compression to make it stop. The thinner solder will improve the result, make sure you make the end of the solder like an L. Do the squish test over the wrist pin on the right or left side of the cylinder (better results if you do both sides at the same time) and I always feel the side of the cylinder with the solder end and let the piston bring it to the top for squish. You should have around .045 if everything is right.
  19. Stock welded cranks are great but I'd avoid the stock 69mm jugs. I also sent you a pm if interested in MI engine builders. Other MI builders include Tyson, RDZ, A&S and sure there are others on this site here who may do some good work in the detroit area. 4 mm's like mentioned above are good with lots of $ to spend, but a stocker can run killer for cheaper.
  20. Starting from scratch with a stock shee would run you $2-2500 to get it done right. Pipes, carbs, reeds, head mods, porting with a fresh top end job. Yes, like others have said 80 hp will be handful to say the least and you won't be able to put it all on the ground in the first 4 gears without a swingarm or wheel bar. My duner is set up this way and with a stock swinger, but you have to use the clutch alot in the first 3 gears. I can PM or e-mail if you need some help getting one done.
  21. Thanks for the good words bansh03. John, I can get them done if you get them here by Tomorrow. Give me a call 517-388-3662 or e=mail me: rbracing11@msn.com
  22. I'm looking for an aluminum gas tank for my Banshee. Please send me a price and pic if you have one for sale. Thanks,
  23. I think your porting looks pretty good, you obviously have good control of your porting tools. Like Radar says, I'd question the 196 ex. and raising the trans a little bit equals blowdown timing. Maybe the wording is throwing us off here but the timing will make the difference between a good port job and a great one. Otherwise, based upon the pictures this was not your first set ported? Hope this helps, Machwon.
