anyone know how to resolve cats in your yard

Yikes, I guess that'd be quite a drive! I was thinking if you were within a day there and back, I'd take tomorrow off and go get 'em. My girlfriend and I went to Jamaica a couple years back - what a hole. Resorts are great, but one you get out of the resorts it's like a 3rd world country. Stray dogs everywhere, all pregnant and half of them only have 3 legs or no tails, whatever. Sounds funny but it still bothers me. Thanks for responding back though - if anyone else is down around you and has a little extra room, maybe they can help out. I like the part on beating them senseless and taking their dough for vet bills...they can add up. Take care bud :beer:

.22 rifle with a subsonic round. You have to be careful though, because what turns into a simple problem solving technique can quickly turn into something to do with beer on a Satuday night. :baseball_innocent:

is that like a gas bullet? my dumbass friend shot at a chicken hawk with one of those and almost got arrested. One of my neighbors saw him aim at it (he shot at it to) and they called the game ranger. He got into alot of trouble even thou he just told him that he acted like he was going to shoot him lol....

 

sorry for the story, but call the pound on them or tell the neighbors to keep it inside.

cheapo paintball gun always worked for me, had trouble with neighbors cocker spanials coming in the yard chasing my cats and crapping all over and getting into the trash bins. after numerous complains to the cops w/ evidence proving what dogs they were, it would be cool for a week or so and they'd come back. started sending them home neon pink & green. the nightly visits stopped real F'in quick. non-lethal, but hurts like hell and the owners got tired of having to wash the dogs every night.

 

 

I had the same type of an idea but didn't want to hurt it & I thought about used motor oil (used to get rid of mainge(sp) so it shouldn't hurt it & I bet its fun to wash off ! I wouldn't want to wash it off my cat It worked for me (but it was A dog) pissed my neighbor off but he had plenty of warnings.

mine was an El-Cheapo $40 Talon pistol from Brass Eagle(Crossman), single shot pump that used the little CO2 cartridges. real low powered. give ya good bite @ like 10 feet the first several shot and would start to fade after that.

Bull shit on antifreeze doesnt work tried .22 works great 1 shot dead or a cat trap and feed them to your dogs or your friends dogs.Cats are not considerd a pet unless they are a show cat because cats can take care of there self.Very sneaky animals they all should be target practice hell ya!

Antifreeze does work...it crystalizes their kidneys and makes them harden. A bit inhumane though.

You can make a decent silencer for a .22 out of a soda bottle. :shrug:

Just use antifreeze don't mix it with milk or water or anything

just straight antifreeze, the sweet smell is irresistable to a cat

trust me it works great

hide it behind a bush or somwhere that you know the cat goes to
