I am going to go to Pismo Beach next month but I need some rear paddles. I have a stock 01 banshee. I plan on jsut riding the dunes, no drag racing. I just need some paddle tires that are cheap and work ok. How many paddles on the tire should I choose? Str8 paddles or curved? I plan on ordering from rockymountain. Are there any tires that I should stay away from? I just don't want my bike to dig in

How about these:

GBC Sand Devil 20x11x10 on ITP Steel Wheel 10X8 3.0 + 5.0 = $114?

Make sure you get 10" wheels.

ANY paddle is better than knobbies. If price is a main concern, get the cheapest you can find. Most tires are going to be "v" cut. It doesn't make a HUGE difference so if you find a smoking deal on a used set of Skat Trak Haulers? Buy them. I've seen a lot of sets for sale under $150!

its probably a good idea to buy a lighter set of wheels-steel wheels on a stock shee can really slow ya down. and ya cant be havin that

dougles blue or black lable wheels are'nt very spendy-but weigh a lot less than steel itp's

just my .02 :thumb:

Get the aluminum wheels, they have less spinning wieght. As far as the no drag racing thing, that wont last long :yelrotflmao:

Once the bug bites ya, its all over, you'll never be satisfied and always want more....................

A new set of knobbies has better grip in the sand than geckos.

Sandstars are a good duning tire. Get em mounted on blue labels. Might want to drop 1 tooth on your front sprocket as well cuz Pismo sand is pretty damp.

DONT I repeat DONT buy Gecko's you'll wanna kill yourself in the end. I felt like a damn fool when I finally bought my Sandstars and actually got a feeling of traction, Straight up wasted my money on them shitty geckos.

I run skat traks with good results for all around riding in the dunes.
